He nodded. It was hardly like money was an issue, and well, the other hadn't reacted badly to the idea of milkshakes. And he was border-lining desperate. "Sure, sounds decent. When can you start?"

Mac arched a brow and nodded, rising and shuffling the papers in front of him together. "Sounds good. Kitchen's that way," he said pointing.

Flicking his fingers in a lazy salute, Oxford stood from his chair. "Thank you, sir. Soups, salads, and sandwiches it is." The white cat sauntered carelessly out of the room, though some would say that it was more wobbly with relief than careless. As the doors to the kitchen swung shut, a bellow was heard from the other side. "Right then, I need somecat to begin a chicken soup stock in two large pots and somecat else to start choppin' vegtables - carrots, potatoes, and peas! Could somecat show me where to find an apron? Get those stoves cooking! Not that one, this one! Here, let me..." His voice drifted away in the renewed noises of the kitchen as the large cat began to slowly assert his new-found dominance over what he had immediately begun in his mind to call, "My Kitchen."
