Tugger stiffened a little "I.." he started, before cutting off with a sigh, glad it was too dark to see his expression propely, "I guess you're right. Least it ain't the gas, better dark than freezing."

"Yeah. I'll stop by and see about paying it tomorrow." Munkustrap sighed, hoping that would be doable.

Tugger's frown deepened, "We gonna have enough f'food if y'do that? Only we're all but out of groceries. An what's in the icebox won't last long with no electric."

"We have what you're bringing in. And we need the electricity, as you said, for the icebox." Munkus replied, considering what that could bring for the month.

Tugger nodded, biting his lip in the dark. As he thought of the fact that he'd been out this week helping Jerrie rather than earning. He'd've felt bad saying no to Jerrie, but at least Griddlebone was guranteed to pay him. "Mebbe we could drum up some more business somehow. How many more y'think we could handle supplyin' to?"

Munkustrap ran a paw over the back of his neck. "We'd have to check with Jerrie, but two more should be viable, maybe even three."

Tugger nodded, "I'll see him t'morrow anyhow, so I can ask him then if y'like. And I'll see what I can do. You gonna be around if we gotta set up some meetin's?"

"Sounds good." He glanced at the candle in Tugger's paw. "We have any more of those?"

"Only one more that I could find in the dark." Tugger admitted, "S'why I've only bin' lightin' it as I've needed it. Y'can just about see in the kitchen. There's a full moon on that side of the house so I left the curtains open."

Munkus nodded, sighing. So much for getting work done tonight. "Alright, well...if I can't get the lights back on tomorrow I'll see if I can locate any others. We've got to have some somewhere."

"If I'm about in the mornin' when it gets light, I'll look then." Tugger offered. "Then we might have some more if they won't switch it on right away. At least we're alright f'matches. Found a bunch of them. The boxes are oldish though, kinda figured they might've bin' Mac's; ain't like anyone else in this house smokes."

Munkus nodded a bit at that. "Yeah, we have plenty of those, I use them to light the range, but seeing if any candles can be found would be helpful."

"I say we blow it an' have a big dinner t'night then." Tugger suggested, trying to lighten the mood, "Least we can cook, so we might as well have anythin' that'll go off without the icebox by tomorrow."
