Honey looked at the price tag on the dress again, trying to work out if there was any way she could justify buying it and frowning at the amount, as if a look would make the figures magically drop.
Finally, she tucked the label back in and stepped out of the fitting room to find one of the bigger mirrors in the shop and perhaps get a second opinion. Maybe ask a few questions about the construction as well. However, the assistant was busy with another customer, pulling a face, Honey headed for the display of hats; it wouldn't hurt to find one that went with it, after all. If she was going to spend out, she might as well blow the whole lot and if she wasn't then she could appease herself with just a hat to match whatever replica she could create herself.

Phililp meandered through the store, pencil stuck in the band of his hat, but notepad no where to be found. He wasn't quite working, but his eye was certainly out for fashion if he managed to see anything worth while. Looking through a collection of hats, his eyes fell on a queen, tilting his head to one side, considering her.

Honey glanced across at the tomcat as she became aware of his gaze. She went very deliberately back to the hats, posture a little more checked to show off the dress better. Carefully, she took a hat off the stand, looking about for a mirror.

"That's quite a lovely combination," he said. "If you don't mind me saying."

Turning and feigning surprise just a little, she smiled at him, "Oh, thank you. I was just looking for a mirror, the fitting room ones are so tiny. You'd think they'd put full-length in there so people don't have to wander about to find one."

He smiled, leaning against the wall with his hip slightly. "Yeah, you'd think. But ah well, we all make some levels of sacrifice for fashion."

She nodded, laughing a little, before lifting the hat and putting it on, attempting to ajust the angle by feel. "Well since there doesn't appear to be one to be seen, maybe you could tell me how it looks?"

He gave it a critical look. "The colors match well, and the styles compliment each other," he said after a moment. "Very much a good choice."

Honey nodded, thinking about the price of the dress again and wondering if she'd be able to get fabric in the same shade. She'd caught the price pinned inside the hat as she'd tried it on, no way she could afford both.
"Thank you. I am rather fond of the look I have to say."

He nodded again. "It's a rather fashionable look at the moment," he replied. "Good color choice as well."

She gave a little shrug at that, "I suppose I've gotten a bit of an eye for which colours suit.

"Rather," he agreed with her. "Do you always dress so fashionably."

Honey gave a slight nod, "I try to keep up with the styles yes, though I suppose I'm lucky they suit me."

He smiled. "And suit you they do."

She offered him another smile for the compliment before remarking "You seem very up on the current trends yourself I have to say."
