He considered that and nodded. "Fair enough." He saw the valet pull up outside and opened the door for her. "Shall we then?"

Mac got in the other side, starting the car and pulling away from the curb. He remained silent for the moment, but not particularly awkwardly, he was just content to not speak for the moment.

Griddlebone watched the scenery pass by the windows. "How did you end up with such a ritzy place?" She asked before thinking about it.

He glanced out of the corner of his eye toward her, taking note of her looking around. He didn't particularly enjoy gloating about his success, but he was proud of it, and, well, he saw where she lived most of the time.
