He rocked back on his heels, offering her a grin as he took the cup. "As long as it's hot, I ain't picky."

Bombalurina grinned brightly, retracting her paws and bringing them to her shapely hips to survey the floor, tapping her velour heel on the damaged boards. "Its bad isn't it?" She sighed, kicking a stray splinter away, watching it skid across the bumpy floorboarding. "If its too much...I'll still pay but...I don't expect you to be able to fix it."

Bombalurina made a small 'Mmm' in worry, turning to him slightly apologetically. "Sorry kit, I didn't mean to get you too worked up - I didn't think you'd be looking at two apartments, just damage-control on mine." She flickered her tail somewhat nervously, her more then ample figure curving lightly in her stance.

Bombalurina was slightly touched by his smile, cramming any admiration for his good natured offer down into the depths of her subconcious, leading him back down the stairs, into her dingy kitchen and hoisting herself to sit on the bench casually. She glanced meaningfully down under the sink. "Once again, if you dare face the horror." Bombalurina smirked, expression light, though inwardly embarrassed at the state of her apartment.

"Hot water doesn't run..." She stated simply, tilting her head gently to admire him willingly assisting her with her sad little household.
Bombalurina sighed at herself, glancing away. Cat, she was pathetic.

"Well, hm." He opened the cupboard, maneuvering so he could better see the pipes.

Bombalurina trained her gaze away from him, not wanting to get too much of her hopes up, merely listening to him tinker around.

He pulled out from under the sink after a few minutes. "I think this may be doable...we'll have to see."

Bombalurina turned to meet his gaze, flickering her ears gently. "You have no idea what it would like to have water that isn't....sleet" The scarlet queen sighed, throwing the evil eye towards the sink.
