Name: Philip Hunt
Aliases: None known, other than things like “Pest” or “That Moron at the paper you mean?” He doesn't react to "Phil" very well, and "Philly," which some queens have tried, tends to get people booted out of his social circle.
Age: 27
Build: He’s pretty average overall with his build, being about 5’11 and an average weight. He’s not skinny, or even too fit, but he’s not chubby either.
Origin: He’s lived for the most part in Felidae, though he spent a couple years at college before dropping out (Or being kicked out depending on whom is asked).
Occupation: Gossip Reporter for The Felidae Tribune.
Eyes: Golden
Hair: His hair is the place where most of his pattern shows up, being a mix of the white, black and light brown, and he keeps it parted to the left side mostly.
Scars: He has a small scar on the back of his head from where he fell from a high place as a kit.
Fur/Markings: He’s a calico Turkish Van, so his body is mostly white, with some black and light brown patterns around the top of his head, and along his tail. Otherwise he’s white, and his cheeks and tail has longer fur than his body.
Attire: He dresses as snappily as he can on the salary he gets. He wears suits in all the colors they can be found in, fond of a particular brown one with orange pinstripes, and his dark green wool one. When trying to make a good impression he’ll use the dark navy suit though, and he is very fond of his Fedora as well.
Accessories: He tends to have a pencil and pad in paw at most times, hoping to run into something interesting he can write about. He also has a new wrist watch he’s rather proud of, and keeps a business card holder with him.
WOC: Philip does not carry a gun, and he certainly wouldn’t know what to do with something like any kind of blade. In any sort of fight, this cat would be pretty much useless.
Appearance: For the most part he’s a rather put together tom, and most of the times, if there are patches in his clothes, which happens on occasion, he’s good at covering them up. He tends to look professional, and is fairly good looking, if not really anything to write home about.
Personality: Philip comes across as a mix between professionalism, and as the most immature guy you ever had the annoyance to encounter. He’s a little too attached to fashion too, and will spend money with abandon only to have that come back and bit him. He is a good writer though, and naturally curious, always sticking his nose in where it doesn’t belong. He was worse as a kitten, though now he’s actually paid to snoop.
He, as a cat, also has a fairly strong sense of smell, probably a bit more so than other cats, and is very territorial, especially over his office. He worked for eight years to get that office after being kicked out/leaving college, and is extremely attached to it. He also is very clear about which things are his. This is not the cat whose personal space anyone wants to enter without express invitation. Possibly written. In triplicate.
He acts for the most part as if nothing in the world really matters, hoping to breeze through life. He makes a lot of grand statements about lofty things, such as love and honor, and can quote long verses of poetry, though it’s more than possible that he only pretends to care about those things. He’s managed to convince almost everycat he knows that he’s a brainless twit though, and uses that to his advantage, occasionally surprising them by having something intelligent to say. Though he tries to keep such instances of that down to a minimum, or they would lose their power to shock. It would also ruin his image.
That being said, he is a rather layered cat, though whether it's more like a cake or like an onion is yet to be determined by anyone.
Special skills: He’s an excellent writer and snoop, and has almost impeccable fashion sense. He also has a photographic memory. Honestly, he is one of the best writers the Tribune has if only he would focus a bit more.
Weaknesses: Beside a debilitating fear of heights that can sometimes pull him up short, his curiosity tends to get the better of him, which can sometimes get him into awkward situations. He’s also allergic to peanuts.
Fears: The worst one is being ignored. He will not allow people to not pay attention to him. After a bad fall as a kit, he is also not fond of heights, and will not move many floors higher than his second story office, thank you very much.
Likes: A good scoop, nice suits, Fedoras, cheap novels, poetry and good music.
Dislikes: Cats with vague answers, threats, badly concealed secrets, and most films.
History: Philip was born to his mother and her second husband. Her first husband had died several years before, and Philip has an older half-brother, Charles Anderson. He had a rather uneventful childhood, having a period of hero-worship for his elder brother that never entirely went away, though he’s always been good at hiding his emotions, so no one would be able to guess that.
His relationship with his mother has always been a good one, though he’s had a worse one with his father, especially after being kicked out of college after barely a year and a half. He claims he left because he just wanted to, the school claims to have kicked him out on academic probation. It was an out of town university, but he returned to Felidae afterward anyway, getting a job as a writer at The Felidae Tribune, where he worked his way up to being one of the top journalists there, though he tends to focus on the gossip and fashion sections rather than the more serious or violent stories. He has colleagues for that after all.
Love Interest: He has no gals currently, and honestly is surprisingly happy with that for all his love poetry quoting.
Quotes: He wants one of Fiyero’s, “Excuse me, but I am deeply shallow,” but I think that one might be copyrighted.
Theme Song:”Dancing Through Life” from Wicked, and to a lesser extent, and not in a lawyer way, “All I Care About” from Chicago. And apparently “LA Song” by Christian Kane. "My Strongest Suit" from AIDA.

Notes: This was not supposed to happen. He actually waltzed into my head over a month ago to "Dancing Through Life" and every character already in my head hated him on sight.
