"Y'sure y'can make it?" Tugger's tone was just a little mocking, though he was more amused than trying to be nasty.

Misto gave him an unimpressed look. "I'll make it," he drawled, heading in that direction, though he wasn't angry, just vaguely annoyed and vaguely amused.

Tugger chuckled a little at that, gratified by the good humor Mistoffelees had taken his words with. He arched an eyebrow at the other before setting off for the locker rooms at an easy jog.

Misto gaped at him slightly when he started jogging to the gym, and followed at a more sedate pace, shaking his head slightly. Luckily he walked quickly anyway, and got to the locker rooms not too long after the other arrived.

The locker rooms were quiet, the frontrunners in the gym class already having changed and left and those lagging at the back not yet having arrived. Tugger was changing his shirt as Mistoffelees walked in, the one he was taking off halfway over his head.

Misto paused when he entered, looking at the other tom whose back he could see. He stopped for a long moment, looking, before turning abruptly and digging around for his own clothes.

Pulling off the shirt, Tugger turned as he looked for his replacement one, catching sight of Mistoffelees in time to see the other tom turn quickly away. His fur bristled, ears laying back as he quickly grabbed the fresh shirt and forced it over his head.

Misto turned slightly, seeing his ears flatten out of the corner of his eye. "What happened?" he asked softly, not sure why and thinking it was a bad idea but doing it anyway.

Tugger swore as the top button popped off his shirt, where he hadn't bothered to undo it in his haste to get it back on. He scowed and pulled the shirt down properly before scrabbling around on the floor to find the missing button. He'd have to have a go at sewing it back on when he got home. He heard Mistoffelees' words but said nothing, pocketing the button and returning to changing in silence.

Misto blinked at that display, but when he got no answer, he certainly wasn't going to ask again so he returned to getting dressed hurriedly, having perfected quick dressing after years of physical education. He was done before Tugger at any rate.

Tugger glanced at Mistoffelees, wondering momentarily why the other tom was still there, before remembering they were supposed to be working on their biology assignment. He sighed, finishing up changing as quick as he could, since the locker room was starting to fill up with the stragglers from the run now and made for the door, barely catching Mistoffelees' eye as an indication to follow.

Misto raised a slight brow at that display before following the larger tom out of the room. "So," he asked, catching up rather than following. "Are you going to eat, or just get to work on the project, and where would you like to do that?"

Tugger shrugged, he wasn't feeling particularly like talking anymore, let alone offering much in the way of helpful information. "You tell me, I don't really care."

Misto raised a brow at that and shook his head slightly. "Well, at this point it's up to you since I'm not hungry."

"Me neither." any appetite Tugger had had been wiped away along with the relaxed feeling he'd had getting off the sports field.
