Electra's tail stiffened at that line, glancing back over to Munkustrap. "Not such a fan of your drink then?"

[Meadowlark]

He shrugged. "It's decent. Not the best gin I've had, but it'll do." He set it aside, offering her his paw. "What do you say to another turn around the dance floor?"

She glanced back at Mimi and smiled at Munkustrap. "Certainly. I'll see you later then," she said to Mimi as she rose.

Mimi offered her a thin, but cordial smile in return. "Good evening."

Electra smiled at her as well. "Have a good night yourself then," she said, following Munkustrap onto the dance floor.

[Meadowlark]

Mimi watched them go, frowning softly. Ah, well. Plenty of fish in the sea. Besides...Electra wasn't going to be at that ball if she'd heard right.

Munkus offered Electra a smile as he lead her into the dance.

Eelctra's grin widened now that they were slightly farther away from Mimi. She had liked the other queen, but something about the way she was looking at Munkustrap bothered her.

"Everything alright?"

"Fine now," she said. "Be even better with some dancing."

[Meadowlark]

Munkus arched an eyebrow, but lead her through the dance. "I see."

[victoriousscarf]

"Really," she added. "It was nothing." She let herself be led through the dance, shaking the strange feeling and laughing again.

[Meadowlark]

He smiled at that. The song ended and he checked the time. "We've got work tomorrow. I should get you home..."

She nodded, a bit saddened by the idea, but understanding. "Of course. Shall we then?"

[Meadowlark]

He offered her a smile. "I think so." He lead her from the floor, offering her his arm.

Grinning, she took his arm, breezing from the floor to where they had left their coats and such.
