"That sounds lovely," she said. She almost asked him which brother, but considering the look he had gotten last time she asked about his family decided against it. "The getting together on Christmas. I'm not so sure about the brother bit. Are you excited to see him then?"

Munkus shrugged slightly. "I suppose. I mean we get along well enough, but we don't exactly see eye-to-eye on some things. Haven't spoken to him much in the past year. We'll see. I know it'd mean something to Mac if Tugger and I showed, but..." He shrugged again. "So, table or just the bar?"

"I would be fine with either," she replied. She paused for a moment though, as that was the first time she heard the name of his brothers. "What were your brother's names?" she asked after a moment's thought. It seemed like she should know at least one of them...

"Hm? Oh, Macavity and Tugger." He guided her gently toward the bar, it would do for now anyway.

Mimi's blue eyes followed the couple as they wove their way toward the bar. She smirked a bit. Well, this was a delight.

Macavity, that did sound like a name she should know, and New Years... "Wait," she said, almost stopping in surprise. "When you say you should see your brother on New Years, did you actually mean you had to attend the social event of the season because your brother is Macavity Hollister? When I heard the last name I thought there might be some relation, but that's your brother?"

Munkustrap's ears flickered a bit at that. "Yeah?"

Mimi's ears tipped in that direction. She too had received an invitation, but had been seriously considering declining it--albeit politely--now though maybe she would attend...

She stood somewhat flabberghasted for a moment. She managed to bit back the question "and you still can't afford decent food?" instead going for, "Oh." She shook her head to clear it and smiled at him again. "Sorry, it just surprised me a bit. I keep reading about him in the society section of the newspaper."

The silver tabby suppressed an eyeroll at that. "I'm sure you do. He's quite the charmer when he wants to be." Other times? Not so much.... at least she didn't know she was reading about him in the Headlines too.

Her smile softened and became warmer. "He's all the fashion at the moment," she said. "But I'm sure even if I did manage to meet him, I'd like you more."

He offered her a smile at that, "Why thank you." They finally reached the bar, just a seat or two from where Mimi was perched.

Electra gracefully slid into the seat, finally letting go of his paw. "You're more than welcome, good sir," she gave him a playful smile, still more focused on him than anyone else in the area.

"Well, what'll you have, Electra?" He asked, settling into the seat next to her.

Electra tilted her head to one side, considering and grinned. "Fruitest thing they have would go nicely."

He chuckled, turning to the bartender who had come over. "You heard the lady. Just a gin for me, please." Might as well see what they would be competing with should they come with an offer to supply here.

Mimi offered the barkeep a smile. "Put it on my tab, Charlie." She glanced at the couple, that flicker of jealousy flaring again. "First round only, but still." She offered Munkus a smile.

Electra turned slightly at that, finally noticing the other queen. "Ah!" she said. "How are you doing tonight?"
