Mac rolled a shoulder. "Well, it doesn't hurt so much as long as I don't strain it or 'et it poked at." He took a deep breath, glancing away and then back at the Russian Blue. "Just walkin' or standin' though, no, it doesn't hurt."

"I see." He finished his examination, quietly, cleaning the area aorund the wound and re-bandaging it. "It is healing well."

Mac nodded. "Good." He didn't much fancy too many more visits at this point anyway. "Can I put my shirt back on now or will you need ta look at anythin' else?"

Doc's ears flickered a bit at that, but he nodded. "Good enough. And yours? I know you are getting ready for your own holidays shortly, nyet?"

Mac nodded, rising from the chair. "Yeah. Speakin' of which," he fished around the desk for a moment, displaying the cream envelope with a flourish. "Here's your invite ta the ball. Figured I'd see and save on postage by just givin' it ta you. And you have no excuse ta get out of it either." He smiled slightly at the end of the sentence. "I checked already."

"Checked?" Cohen arched an eyebrow as he slit open the envelope, double checking the date and day and realizing what Macavity meant. Oh. Wonderful.
