"Spout them and we'll see about the negotiation. It's not like I'm sending you in there alone, stop whining and do as I tell you."

Taradan glowered slightly but nodded. He put the paper inside his jacket and lit up again as they headed into the building.

Martin glanced at the cigarette but did not comment on it as he walked inside.

Taradan followed in silence.

"No, that ain't what I said! I was told t' tell yew lot that this was how much they were payin' you for the cider. An' it's more'n you usually charge so if y' don't like it y' can stick it up y' ass." The small, sandy tabby was frowning up at a much taller cat who was simply looking at him bemusedly. "'Sides, I could jus' as easily go somewhere else f' what 'Is Nibs wants." The kit muttered surlily.

Martin blinked a bit bemusedly at the small cat yelling at the much larger tom. Was that a child... who in their ever loving mind would send a child out to do their work for them? Aside from whoever "his Nibs" was.

Taradan's ears also pricked at the sound of the voice, he drew heavily on his cigarette as he realised with a growing horror whose voice it was. A low growl escaped him, anger and frustration at his youngest brother for completely disobeying him and for putting himself in danger. He knew exactly who 'his Nibs' was and he was seething.
The only problem now was how the hell to get out of this, he wasn't concerned about embarrasing his little brother, but also knew he wouldn't stand to see Ricky get in trouble with his boss. So he couldn't just pull the older brother act and drag the kit out of there, though there was nothing he wanted to do more.

Ricky finally turned away, having gotten the sparkling cider for Jones' Christmas whatever-the-hell it was ordered. He still had another stop, mebbe two. His green eyes widened very slightly when he saw his older brother. Well, he hadn't been doing anything illegal. This was non-alcoholic. "Oh. Hey." Whoops.

Martin's eyebrows shot up at the familiarity in which the kit greeted them? Or was it Taradan he was greeting? He shot a quick look over to the other tom and his eyebrows inched even a bit higher at his expression. Hm. Interesting.

((Non-alcoholic cider.... only now do I understand why Taradan doesn't need a gun. Over here the majority of cider is alcoholic.))
Taradan did his best to greet his brother with at least a little indifference, deciding it was the easiest way to go about being 'professional' "Alright," he nodded at Ricky, before taking the paper out again, and turning to the supplier. "Got another seasonal order 'fyou, for the Demoniaque."

((Oh snap. Sorry, should have made that clear))
Martin crossed his arms, watching the other cat rattle off the order. He was doing remarkably well. Hopefully Martin would not have to deal with anything. He just wanted to get back behind his desk where it was warm and he was in control.

Ricky's ears flickered back and he frowned, but slipped out. Might as well wait outside.

Taradan's raised an eyebrow when he saw his brother leaving, he'd been hoping to somehow get ahold of the kit for a word before they finished up, though he had no idea how. At any rate, it looked like he was going to have to talk to Ricky again about working for Jones.
He finished with the order, asking the suppliers to read it back to him, satisfied it was correct to what was on the paper, he turned back to Martin. "Looks like we're finished here."

"Indeed," Martin nodded, and turned to go, walking quickly out of the building.

Ricky, leaning against the building watched as the cat with his brother exited. He still might be able to make good his escape before Taradan came out, but why? After all...he had something on his brother now too.
