Electra's face lit up. "You're very welcome," she said, totaling the groceries. "Here's your total," she said, showing him the number.

Munkus nodded slighty, withdrawing the money. He'd been right, almost exactly, two cents left over for a paper from the newsboy on the corner and the cost of the bus ride home still in his pocket. He set the payment on the counter. "Thank you again."
