1. Use your common sense; this is a social forum, and kindness among users is as always, welcomed. Please don’t be a troll and bash anyone for anything.
2. Deal with disagreements like an even-tempered adult. If there is a problem with this, speak with the admins and we’ll try to help you sort it out. Try to do so on your own first.
3. Please don’t post in all CAPS. It’s shouting and can be taken the wrong way
4. Please keep swearing in all threads to a minimum, especially out of character posts. There's no need to curse at other members.
5. We all have stuff going on in our lives: school, work, family. If you're going to be gone for a while, please let us know by posting in the hiatus thread.
6. If there is any reason you may be unable to post for a while, or if your posts may be sporadic, please ensure you tell EVERYBODY included in any RPG in which you may be participating. That way they can advance the plot instead of having to wait for a long time.
7. Please read the character and RP rules before posting. The first part of the code is Dead.
8. If you wish to pre-organise an event (i.e. an argument between two characters, a battle, etc) please do so outside of the main RP beforehand, so that both of you know what is going to happen. We don’t want any issues arising from one character unknowingly attacking or more specifically killing another without the user’s consent etc. The Personal Message (PM) system is a great tool for having private conversations between users.
9. Once a thread is dead, meaning you're done with it, mark it with the code [Thread End] ((Remove spaces)).
10. Please put all the names of your characters in your signatures so we know who you are. Color coding is easy to do and is extremely appreciated when a lot of characters are playing at once.
11. Please respect the roles of Admin/Staff on the forum. They are in such a position for a reason and are there to help play, not hinder it. As always, feel free to take up any concerns with them. They know their stuff and offer their advice if need be. Should you be messaged or contacted by one in regards to the rules, they are only doing their job, so don’t take it as a personal attack. After all, they want you to enjoy the RP as much as they do.
12. Have fun!
Not a rule, but a useful note: If you find yourself typing out a lengthy post here in the forum, it’s always a good idea to save your post to your local hard drive before hitting the ‘submit’ button. Though it seldom happens, post submissions can sometimes be lost. It’s also recommended you do the same with Character Applications.
