Name: Vivian Nightingale
Aliases: Viv, Nightbird,
Age: 24
Build: She's average height, coming in at about 5' 6. She also weighs in at 133. Curvaceous, but not too much that it's overly exaggerated.
Origin: New Hampshire
Occupation: A waitress at The Palace (See History)
Eyes: Brownish-hazel
Hair: Dark brown in color and slightly longer than normal bob, stopping at mid throat. She'll finger weave it occasionally, but more times than not it's straight.
Scars: None as far as nips and scrapes from childhood
Fur/Markings: Cookie dough in color (tan, white, and dark brown). Small mane much like a Maine Coon.
Attire: More of a flapper than traditional style clothing. She stays in her comfort color zone of reds, but can work with any color complementing her fur color. Aside from her public wear, she changes from that to her uniform for her job at The Palace.
Accessories: An opal ring on her right index finger that her father had given her.
WOC: Carries a small revolver at her left thigh under her skirt, kept there by a garter.
Appearance: Always tries to look her best. She carries herself in a aristocratic manner. Being up brought to be proper, she carries through with that even after going off on her own. First glance is that she appears stern and serious, however looks are always deceiving.
Personality: She is brazen and headstrong, yet knows when the right time is to speak, and the right time to keep her mouth shut. If she has something to say then she'll say it, other than that others will have to be the first to communicate for her speak, otherwise she's mainly the type that doesn't beat around the bush and stays straightforward.
It doesn't take much to push her buttons, yet she will say or give signs that you're close to the edge. So, she typically stays away from anyone she feels will get under her skin. She does have her tenancies to snap with rage, throwing quick insults and pushing away at everyone in order to hide her moment of weakness. More so, she avoids areas of tension and is overall fun-loving in all humors.
Upon first meet, she seems like a general misanthrope. Though, being a test, she picks at your intentions no matter what they are and turns them to her advantage, much like a strategist. It takes patience, dealing with her personality, but she's open up bit by bit the more her trust builds.
Special skills: Strategist, and very sharp eyesight and hearing (hard to catch her by surprise)
Weaknesses: She doesn't do well under heavy pressure, and she tries not to make that obvious. She has a soft side for the wounded and weak.
Fears: Terribly afraid of failure, rejection, and germs especially.
Likes: Gambling, the dark, spicy foods, classical music and novels, any type of challenge, and cloth.
She's very fond of theater, being that she was in ballet as a child.
(She'll often stand in relevé when she's barefoot)
Dislikes: Extremely loud noises, being underestimated, rooms that are untidy, and mistakes that she catches. (She has a bit of an OCD problem)
History: She was born in the northern part of New Hampshire an only child with her mother, Ellen Nightingale, and father, Lawrence Nightingale. She allowed herself to be very sheltered and spoiled until she traveled to Felidae.
Throughout her school years, she stayed on top of her work and was the few who were top of the class. Due to not being so much as social and staying in her books, she didn't make many friends. Being so that she advanced in her classes, she often accompanied her father on his business trips, and when at home, she helped her mother with errands until she became of age to be a waitress. Even so, she still helped her mother out.
She lived a very mundane routine life until she turned twenty-one, she went on another trip with her father to Felidae, and upon arrival was drawn to it. She decided to stay and earn her own keep instead of being dependent on her family. Her father didn't really approve so much, as he didn't think that she was ready to be "independent" just yet. So, in order to prove him wrong, taking what he said as a challenge, she looked around for jobs as a waitress, and settled for applying at The Palace. A few months later her father left, trusting that she was more than capable of taking care of herself because she worked.
It was only about a year later that she received word from her mother that her father had passed away and had left his fortune to her and her mother. She wasn't so much as stricken by it, as she tried to be strong about it and reminded herself that it's part of life. Resignedly, she accepted what her father left, however doesn't flaunt said inheritance, but rather keeps it away and uses it for what her perception of "necessities only" is. She just continues her life, slightly sullen, and works for what she wants.
Love Interest: She has no one that necessarily catches her eye. Even so, she doesn't look. It takes effort to impress her. She was raised to be completely heterosexual, however being out of the confines of the household, she truly couldn't care less.
Quotes: "Are you really that stiff in the gut? Or are you hiding something far deeper?" ; "Ah, ah, ah. I wouldn't really do that if I were you. It'd be far too detrimental to not only your health, but everyone in here." ; "Yes, I was raised a spoiled brat. Yes, I was handed everything I demanded as I child. But I shall be eternally damned if I were to act in any snobbish way here... It's not professional." ; "I wish you luck on your attempts to find anything about me. I would profuse praise on even the smallest bit of your findings.. That's how hard it will be to scope. So shall you start digging now?"
Theme Song: She enjoys listening to "Claire de Lune" by Claude Debussy. She can also be found playing "Moonlight Sonata" by Beethoven, as it relaxes her. "Off the Rails" by The Notwist is a good song that describes one of her many bland moods. "Crystamanthequins" by Homestuck is a song to describe her more violent moods.
