Name: Eanoreed (Ee-no-reed) Radnage
Aliases: Ean, Reed, Eano
Age: 26
Build: Tall and slim- not broad or particularly muscled.
Origin: Descendent of british settlers, grew up in Felidae with his mother, cousin and brother.
Occupation: Politician/Up-towner (?)
Eyes: Light green.
Hair: Slicked back raven black hair.
Scars: Nothing of note- perhaps a few from play fighting with his brother when they were kittens but none since then.
Fur/Markings: Very dark brown fur with black stripes that are near impossible to discern because the two shades are barely different.
Attire: Eanoreed wears formal clothing in general, looking good no matter what the occasion. He leans towards crisp suits- white shirts with either pale yellow, gold, light blue or light green waistcoats, a starched collar and silver suit trousers being his everyday attire. He has at least 5 pairs of the same black dress shoes which he uses almost like slippers around the house. When outside or amongst others not in his family he will add a well-fitted black suit jacket with a pale silver lining that keeps him fairly warm, but when at home he will forego the jacket in favour of his ‘casual’ look (simply the everyday one but sans jacket).
Accessories: His father’s pocket watch that his brother is very jealous of- it is gold with silver detailing and fits perfectly inside the breast pocket of his jacket. It is special to him because he remembers his father letting him play with it every so often when he was alive and it became a private object shared only between them.
WOC: A cane, if he is carrying one. The one he owns is a simple polished ebony stick with a rounded silver top. The cane can deal serious damage if called for, and helps Reed to avoid dirtying his paws directly.
Appearance: He is a handsome tom, with high aristocratic cheekbones and large, wide eyes. He has an average sized mouth with thin lips and rarely smiles fully; small smiles or smirks are his preference, but he can still be very charming and seem perfectly delighted by circumstances or news to those watching. He has a pointed chin and aquiline nose.
Personality: Ean is publicly slick and charming- ever polite and gentlemanly, but privately he is sarcastic and brooding. He rarely smiles broader than a slight stretch of his mouth, but the rarity of this event has served to make it all the more rewarding for those on its receiving end. He will smile at his mother’s praise, his cousin’s teasing or his brother’s dry wit and is not above displaying affection to a possible bedmate.
Mentally he is clever and calculating- intensely ambitious at a level which rivals his cousin, and is not above making enemies to achieve what he wants. He is, however, loyal to his family- his mother, brother and cousin, who all support him. His brother is often his ‘wingman’ when out in society’s gatherings and he plans for both of them to be working together until retirement. He would like a wife and children- it is tradition after all, and believes he would be a kind, if stern and somewhat distant father, should that eventuality occur.
Special skills: Can draw very well, although rarely has time for this particular hobby.
Weaknesses: Cannot abide dirty clothing- stained garments are never seen again, his mother’s wishes, his cousin’s pleading/whining.
Fears: underachieving, disappointing his mother, losing his position, being mugged without his cane on him.
Likes: Liquor-filled chocolates, beautiful queens, playing with other cats in order to improve his position in society.
Dislikes: Dirt, inferiors, bad jokes, embarrassment or unwanted attention, the threat of not achieving.
History: Eanoreed Radnage was born on the 8th of September 1900 in Felidae. He grew up there with his parents until the age of 2, when his father died of a heart attack. His mother looked after him and his younger brother Cillirrim Silverheels, and when orphaned his cousin Eskilto Mar joined their household too. All three were raised accustomed to the finer things in life.
He and his brother and cousin were not the kind of kittens to run around a garden playing hoops, but who would pretend to be kings, queens and courtiers, bossing around imaginary servants and very-real tutors and tailors who frequented the house.
His mother in fact paid for tutors galore, along with the customary spoilt child clothing and pleasures- Reed’s favourite being biographies and histories of great leaders. Eanoreed displayed a calculating political mindset at a reasonably young age, and through his tutors and his mother cultivated an intelligent mind and far reaching ambitions, hoping one day to attain the position of Mayor.
He has also had his fair share of politically advantageous (or purely indulgent) romantic flings but has yet to find any queen well suited to both his personality and career path. He is often teased by his cousin that perhaps they should marry, and it has been noted by his brother that this is the one joke that consistently produces a genuine smile.
Love Interest: None yet.
Quotes: ‘Yes I see.’, ‘That’s just fascinating.’
Theme Song: maybe part of ‘bop to the top’ from HSM ?
[[Baby to be number one/You got to raise the bar/Kicking and a scratching/Grinding out my best/Anything it takes to climb/The ladder of success/Work our tails off everyday/Gotta bump the competition/Blow them all away]]
