I just decided to make a thread because I keep posting these and they tend to make a huge mess because they're all just scattered about. Anyway, here's the picture I just finished! It's Russell, go figure xD fav.me/d4u20x3Plan on doing one of Sonya next!

Can I bow before you both for the art and for the fact that you are marketing the board for us?

Ah, I really do like both of those pictures quite a bit...
But my historian senses are tingling and a quick thing: I didn't catch it in the app since it was described as a "popular military hair cut" but it's unlikely Russell would have a crew cut, and he wouldn't if he has a military hair style. "The crew cut was adopted by the United States armed forces during World War II, and became a civilian fashion for men throughout the 1950s." It showed up in the 1890s for rowing crews but didn't enter the military until the 1940s and the civilians really until 1950s.
That aside, I really like all the art work you've been creating and think it's all rather wonderful.

I'm not exactly sure what to call it exactly, so I just called it a crew cut. Curse my foolishness lol xD
Thanks for the rest of the compliments, though! :D
Edit: I looked it up and all I found was that the military cut was short, typically not longer than 1cm, so it's similiar.... Eh, I don't know anything... -hides under a rock-

The other thing to keep in mind is that military hairstyles weren't really popular among civilians at the time period anyway. For example, most men I have ever seen had longish hair slicked back. But eh, it goes I suppose. But otherwise yes, I do rather enjoy the art.

Not quite if this one counts as work for the site, but it's Russell. And he's a popstar. And he loves it. Haha xD I wanted to share it to see what you guys thought about it. are-you-savy.deviantart.com/#/d4xbt7p
