Mistoffelees followed her, looking around when they actually reached the penthouse. "You know, it feels strange to be in here without a certain ginger tabby glowering behind the desk, or Cor," he said, turning in a circle and actually considering the room for the first time.

She smiled sheepishly, "I have tea. It's hidden away in one of the back cupboards and I drink it once in a great while when Mac's not here."

"I'm pretty sure he'll forgive me for serving it to a guest as long as he isn't involved in it," she answered as she set the kettle on to boil.

Sitting down carefully on the couch against the wall by the kitchenette, Mistoffelees let his wait wrap around one leg. "That's my hope, at any rate. Or maybe he just bellows less at you..."

"He doesn't really bellow as much as cats think, or at least cats who work for him. He simmers more than that," Grids answered.

That got a laugh from the black tom. "I believe it entirely. But when he does bellow it tends to be rather loud and apparent is all."
