The silver tabby sneezed as he stood out waiting with his brown tabby companion. Waiting was not one of his strong suits, but it was the part coming after the waiting that was going to make it all worth it. It should only be two, or one if they were lucky, of the Hidden Paw's gang coming down to meet them. It was supposed to be a peaceful arrangement, but they would see about that.
Welkram slipped through the buildings like a wrath. He knew where his targets where going to be at this time, and he was quickly making his way to their location. He picked up that they were going to be making some sort of exchange, information from what he had heard. The meeting was supposed to be short and when it was over, he could nab them on their way back to their base to report. It wasn't far fromt he location so his window was narrow, but he had already had it planned all out, so what could go wrong?

Ricky glanced around the area he was supposed to meet the contacts in. Next time Coricopat could meet his own damn contacts in a place like this. Too dark for his liking. There were reasons he lived downtown and worked downtown and went to school downtown. The outskirts of town gave him the shivers. He finally reached the arranged meeting place, "You got the info you promised?"

The tabby's tail curled and he gave something of a smile- a dark smile. "Sure," he said, his voice a scratchy purr. He held up a small envalope in one hand invitingly, but it was still held rather close to his body. "Got it right here." Beside him the brown tabby looked around nervously, a feeling of being watched suddenly creeping up the back of his neck; probably his damn conscience getting the better of him.
Welkram pressed up to the side of a nearby building, his head barely peeking around the corner. He needn't have worried about his face being seen; the night was pleasantly dark and hid him rather well. Soon his blood would be on his hands... soon...

The kit eyed the envelope, holding a similar one, "And I got your payment, toss that info here and you get it."

The tabby took a menacing step forward, his companion snapping out of where ever he was and stalking forward as well. "How about," The silver tom purred out again. "You just give that to me now?" There was a flash as light reflected off the gun when he pulled it out. Brown tabby pulled out a similiar one as well, training it on Ricky's forhead. "No need for violence, right? Give us our money first and you can have your information."
Welkram narrowed his eyes and his tail flickered as he watched the pair. Something was off... Did they really mean to shoot the kit? He choked down that thought before it could bubble anymore. No sense worrying about the tom, he was nothing to Welkram anyway.

Ricky's ears lay back, his tail coiling around his leg, "Now there ain't no need for that. We'll toss th' envelopes at the same time, how abouts?" It was official, someone else could deal with this stuff from here on. He was done, if he survived this.

There was an all too audible click at the brown tabby pulled the gun down into full-cock. The silver tabby smile remained as he trained his own gun at Ricky's heart. "I don't think so," He mused, drawing his own gun into the firing position liesurely. "I think you'll give me the money first."
Everlasting Cat, what were they doing? This was going to ruin everything! Time was burning, the docks were regularly patroled by various gang members and if they didn't get a move on then they were very likely to overlap with a roving patrol on their way back. Even in a few minutes a patrol would be walking right down to where they were standing. If something didn't happen fast then Welkram's week of planning and preparation would have been wasted. Uncharacteristically he hoped the kit had something in his sleeve to get himself out of this mess- purely because of time restraints of course.

"You do remember who y' dealin' with right? You think killin' one a his couriers is a good plan for your lives?" He tossed the money envelope to the side, "The info. Or I go to my boss an' let him know."

The tabby's grin seemed to stretch wider and he opened his mouth to speak again, but all that came out was a senseless strangled noise and a moment later he fell to the earth.
The blade glinted evily in his hand; Light bounced dully off the metal and flashed angrily off the red still staining it. In a moment he struck out for the other tabby, catching him right underneath the ribs. With a twist the other tabby also cried out and tried to make a move to shoot the gun, but it was too late and the fired bullet hit the ground harmlessly. There was a wet hiss as Welkram withdrew the dagger from the side of the brown tabby and an instant later the stabbed tom fell, gurgling as his lungs fought to purge the blood begining to pool in them. The nearly all black tom crouched down to wipe the dagger on the jacket of one of the fallen, the silver tabby who had ceased to move. Standing again, Welkram fixed the small tom in front of him with a harsh gaze as he tucked the dagger away. He had made sure when he popped out from his hiding place that he would be able to stay in the shadows so all that really could be visable was his white paw which was currently tucked away an out of sight. The rest of him, he knew would be difficult to see in this lighting, which was just fine.
It would have been easy to kill the small tabby- there certainly was no shortage of tabbies- but something held him back. It would have been messy and he wouldn't have enough time to clean up this mess before someone came along. Besides, as the kit himself stated, he worked for someone important and getting on that cat's bad side was exactly what would get Welkram into some nasty trouble. The police could search for him all they wanted, but once someone who actually knew how to dig up dirt came along Welkram's host would be in some serious jepardy.
Three minutes before a patrol would pass by, maybe less seeing as their boss hadn't been in a good mood lately or maybe more because of their heavy drinking habits. Either way, it wasn't a whole lot of time before they would be discovered.
With practice speed his gun was out of his holster and trained on the kid's chest. "I don't need your blood traced back to this here," He rumbled in his dark tone. "You never saw it happen, got it?"

Ricky swallowed hard and shoved his paws into his pockets to hide the fact that they were shaking, "Y-yeah I got it." He took a half step forward, "I gotta get that...that envelope they got though. Can-can I do that?"

Welkram glanced down at the two figures at the ground. "You've got five seconds," He said and his eyes once more fixed on Ricky.

The kit darted forward, scooping up the envelope before scurrying back. His gaze darted tot he envelope of money, weighing the pros and cons of taking that one back as well.

The black tom followed Ricky's gaze to the envelope. With a flick of his tail, he kicked it over to the kit. "Need to move," He said quietly and looked at the bodies before looking at Ricky again. "Know if you run you'll probably run into another patrol. From what was going on here you probably weren't meant to get out of here alive." His threat hung in the air as he snapped his gun back into it's place by his side.
Welkram then proceeded to pick up one of the toms and dragged him in one of the allyways, dumping him behind some rubbish and boxes. It would at least hide the body until the morning came and lit up the place. If no one passed through the ally regularly then the body would maybe go unnoticed for a few days. Quickly, he came back out of the ally to scoop up the other body to hide that one as well.

The kit scooped up the second envelope, slipping it into his pocket. He hesitated a moment, "Thanks." It seemed more than a little strange to be thinking somecat for killing two cats, but what else was he supposed to say. Ricky considered how best to leave without turning his back on the black cat.

Welkram was back without much delay. Without hesitation he had his gun back out and in his hand again. Almost casually he trained it back on the tabby. "Move," He said, gesturing to his right with the gun. "If you make any unnecessary noises..." He pulled the revolver into full-cock to finish his sentence.
