((OOC: I'm honestly not sure what day we're on so I'm going to hedge this with an 80. I'll change if necessary))
Lise quietly made her rounds through the rooms, straightening them as she went. It was a quiet day - thankfully enough, and that meant she had some time to go a little slower and not race around like a mad queen, trying to get every little thing done. She hummed softly to herself as she started to wash the windows in one of the rooms and slowly began to sing as she straightened the sheets.
"Pie Jesu Domine, dona eis requiem, dona eis requiem. Pie Jesu domine, dona eis requiem, dona eis requiem, dona eis Domine, dona eis requiem, sempiternam requiem, sempiternam requiem, sempiternam requiem. Pie Jesu, Jesu, Pie Jesu Domine, dona eis dona eis sempiternam requiem, sempiternam requiem," she sang softly, recalling several Christmases at home - something she missed.
She shook herself and returned to what she was doing. She liked her new life as it was so why waste time dreaming about what had been? Still, she wondered, before fluffing the pillow a little too harshly, her tail lashing a little behind her. She took a calming breath and returned to humming.
At least, it promised to be one - but then promises were like pie crusts, easily made and easily broken.
((OOC: lyrics are from here: htp://silentnight.web.za/translate/french.htm -- Video for the first song is here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=_VLY2bd5w8k -- And brownie points if you can catch a movie quote ;)))
