His eyebrows knitted in thought. "What?...Oh...OH!" He recoiled a little. "Yes. Yes. That kind of...dance." His fur was fluffing up around his ears and neck. With a cunning move, he leaned in and growled a little, nibbling at the nape of her neck. "That's my favorite kind of dance, Milady."

The white queen arched at the touch, purring as she murmured her reply, "Believe me, I know. Sh-shall we then?"

He began to guide her away from the noise of the crowd, it became a gentle thrum behind them as they walked back towards the Fishbone. "My true love went riding...in white, and green and grey," he sang, softly into her ear. "Past the pale of office wall, where she was want to stray. There she came upon a white and wounded fawn."

She glanced up at him, offering him a smile, "You always find the most beautiful songs that I swear I've never heard."

"The sailors say every story's been told, time and again. They've got a life of their own and they need to be heard." He smirked. "That's not a sea yarn, though, that's more of a folk tale. My old marm sang it to me when I was a kit."

"I say again, it's beautiful." She opened the door to the Fishbone, pulling him inside.

He stopped inside the threshold, her paws cupped in his. His usual Viking confidence was suddenly failing him, in light of the happy atmosphere. "Milady?"

She turned to him, confusion lighting in her eyes, "Yes, 'Tiger?"

He bent down to one knee, "Milady, will you marry me?" he paused and looked at their locked paws. "After I get back from my next trip, will you marry me?"

Grids stared at him for a long moment, her eyes wide, "I-I...I do love you, 'Tiger. I just... I don't deserve you."

"You make me the kind of tom that want's to marry, that's enough," he smiled, honestly, tail sweeping the ground behind him. "You don't have to answer now...I'm ah, going away soon again, so you can have until then," his smile drooped slightly, "but I'd love it if you'd be my wife."

She offered him a faint smile, "Give me some time to think about it. It hasn't ever been something I thought of before, 'Tiger. I'll let you know."

He let out a whoop and grasped her around the waist, spinning them around. "No pressure, sweet, I'm just as happy with this, y'know...but I know you'd look like a diamond in a dress." That, and he knew he wanted her to be his forever, he didn't say that, though.

She laughed, letting him spin her around. She was still uneasy about the entire idea of being married. Life was too unpredictable, especially when it was a pirate she shared her bed with.

He kissed her again. "I'll be back in a few months, there's some trouble down south I have to deal with...but I'll be back soon enough."
