Finally Mistoffelees looked back up, when about half his food was gone. "You got home rather late last night," he said softly. "Or, I should say this morning. Anything up or just too much to do as usual?"

"Alright," he murmured, taking another bite and pausing. "It worries me, a little when you don't come home in the evenings. I certainly understand why, and most nights I couldn't ask you not to but, it just worries me. I sound like a housewife don't I?" he added, shaking his head slightly at himself.

Mistoffelees paused and glanced down again. "I had a nightmare. I couldn't get back to sleep and just ended up there. I meant to sit down for a second and fell asleep instead."
