It was early morning again, and Sonya wished it could have held itself off for just a couple more hours. At least he was finally getting something that resembled sleep again, though everlasting cat knew it still wasn't quite enough.
Flipping through some of the files on his desk, he took a sip from the thankfully still warm cup of coffee.

Coricopat took a deep breath, reminding himself not to bait the police commissioner, as easy as it was some days. He needed the cat to work with him on this. He tapped on the office door.

Sonya glanced up at that, sighing softly. "Come in!" he yelled out, taking a quicker swallow of the coffee.

Sonya looked up and froze for a moment, finally letting out an annoyed breath. "Do you not have somecat else whose soul you can attempt to barter for?"

Giving him a long look, Sonya turned to riffle through the files, pulling out the various ones that had to do with Myre's victims. "Try to do this one right, hm?"
