I bought a CD that was selections from Cats, then went out and bought the CD of the entire show. I was completely blown when I listened to it (because up until then, the closest I had was having seen the '98 production on PBS). For example, it's *Victoria* that does the Memory duet with Grizabella, not Jemima.
I hear you - I know when the high school did Cabaret, they had a list of what they needed costume wise ((although, how many people seriously keep a gorilla costume in their attic?))

Oh we do need to write that scene still don't we. And the keychain.
I'm looking forward to breaking him in Buffyverse...okay not really the breaking him part but the action which causes said breakage. If I can't take it out on the muse who deserves it, why not on the counterpart?
As to Gorilla costumes. I just went to a wedding where the Maid of Honor gave the bride and groom one as a joke wedding gift. THe bride almost died laughing.

If I can't take it out on the muse who deserves it, why not on the counterpart? I feel sorry for Misto ((note to self, Misto, not Mytho. Princess Tutu will be the death of me)). And what muse deserves it that you can't take it out on?

*innocent look* Muse? Did I say Muse? Now that would be telling since it doesn't come til season 6, wouldn't it? One of my Cori's though.

Ah - that clarifies it without spoiling it
((Oh, Everlasting Cat, the radio is playing "Kentucky Rain", Elvis, and it keeps giving me visions of 'Tiger for some reason. I think it's the "wondering what went wrong" line that's making me think of him))

You are looking forward to that /way/ too much m'dear. I'm just sorta interested in the entire storyline in that it takes him emotionally/mentally darker than usual. >.>
I do like it when Victoria sings on the CD, yes.

Okay, feeling sorry for Corico in BatB'verse. Although, I hate doing this but, there's one small continuity error. Just a small one... You called Tumble a girl in one line before correcting yourself in the next. The line falls over here: "Well, you could start by making yourself more presentable," she remarked, looking him over. "Straighten up, act like a gentleman!" His spine went up.
"Impress her with your wit!" Mistoffelees offered.
"But be gentle," Jenny admonished. ((I'll confess to jumping right past the "Gaston" musical number - only because that scene breaks my heart in the animated version and I know it'd do worse if I read that scene)) I want to feel sorry for Tugger when Tumble refused to go to dinner in the beginning - but really, Tugger, you brought that on yourself. But points for acknowledging that you're being a bully in that section. And points to Coricopat for not being truly like Cogsworth (if my memory serves, Cogsworth had agreed with Beast about Belle not being allowed to eat after the failed dinner attempt) And there's something that bothers me with Jenny's sentence here: I'm going to assume that you meant until instead of under because until makes more sense in context. And my heart broke for Tugger when he heard what Tumble said via the mirror. ((Oh, and please say you won't do that Baroque joke that Cogsworth cracks. That is so groan worthy)) edit: My art muses are going to be bothering me now because of BatB'verse. I know Tumble is just begging me to sketch him (it's the facial markings that are nudging me to be honest). I'm going to assume that his first outfit is much like Belle's only sans apron and skirt?

*Headdesk* I even went and revised those typos. I just forgot to update the chapter content. I shall go do that now.
But-but, you're missing /Genghis/!
((The joke will be showing up, mostly because as groan worthy as it is I do love it. Cori, unlike Cogsworth, knows its bad though))
I actually picture Tumble in much more subdued clothes, always. Usually browns. So like, brown trousers a white shirt with a brown vest over the top. And they are human in this 'Verse....well, other than Tugger and les objects of course.

... Wait, I revised all those typos last night! I swear to god... >.> There were like 6 times Tumble was referred to as female actually, usually by me, and you can tell when a scene was written late at night just based off that. I confess to being crap at line editing because eventually my eyes start skipping over letters when I read something. Plus, I have some of these lines so firmly in my head as /she/ that I just don't realize I'm doing it.
((I love Cori's groan worthy joke. Misto actually likes it too, though he admits it under pain of death at that point. Poor besotted candelabra...))
Yeah, they are human in this verse, but drawing fanart of them catlike for it wouldn't go amiss... but we do about 50/50 with humans and them as cats, it just depends on the verse. Though, if Cori's ears aren't flickering by the second chapter or so, assume it's human ((Except in this one XD))

Okay, consider some fanart done soon ((I knew those coloring books with Beauty and the Beast images would be good for something)) And ::nods:: understood about the colors - the book on the making of the movie indicates that Belle's emotional coolness was shown by her wearing blue and Beast's emotional fieriness was shown by his warm colors, so that when she wore gold and he wore blue you knew they were finally on the same page (terrible paraphrasing to be honest, but that's the general idea of it)
And I promise, I won't skip Genghis/Growltiger when we get to the Maison scene. It's just the whole "let's throw Skimble into the snow while he's ill" thing that bothered me ((especially in the original))
((well, at least he acknowledges it's a groanworthy joke. Brownie points for him. Oh, and speaking of Cogsworth: the line "promises you don't intend to keep" - that was ad libbed in. Of course, I spend most of my time chuckling because of one of Cogsworth's VA's other roles. If you've heard of M*A*S*H, Charles is Cogsworth))

Woo, fanart! Yeah, but Tumble as a character tends to be more subdued and Tugger is... well, this is a Tugger if his entire world view/self confidence got /shattered/ at the age of eleven. It's not pretty.
XD Yeah, it's an iffy scene but at the same time Genghis spends most of the scene sorta going, really? Really?
((Heh. My mom's seen every episode of M*A*S*H twice and many more than that. So yeah, I've seen a fair amount of that. XD Yes, Cori acknowledges his groanworthy jokes at least))

Right now, I need Tumble to cooperate with me in getting his hair drawn - I managed to get a nice upper body shot (reworked Belle's bodice into a vest/shirt number for him) ((Thank God that I can reference Thundercats' tigers since they have the headfur thing I need))
edit: And before I even attempt Tugger in Beast form - exactly what am I going to be drawing? Is he close to the canonical Beast or am I allowed artistic freedom when I draw, so long as I keep a sense of Tugger in him?

okay, reading the second chapter to season 2 Buffy'verse
I keep reading this line aloud and to me, there's something awkward about how it reads Now, I'll confess that I'm not sure if that's how it sounded when Xander said it ((it's been literally years since I've watched Buffy and I'm not getting up at o-dark hours to turn on the TV and rewatch it on Chiller)) but there's just something about that line...
Okay, and I just did a full body wince when Grids tortured the vamp. Okay, I know she's the Slayer and she hates vampires - but ::shudder:: Although, if she put the cross in the vampire's mouth - how did she expect it to talk since crosses burn vampires ((at least in most legends))
And w00t, Grids is finally back to normal (or as normal as a Slayer can get during the beginning of a season) and the Scooby gang returns to happy fun time (for now)
And I seriously love Tugger so far in Buffy'verse.

Ummmm... artistic license for Tugger? That's my vote anyway. Go for it, but see about keeping it as Beast/Tuggerish as possible. XD
... That's because that line is missing at least one word. Have I mentioned my copy-editing skills...? You can tell which stories I post and when I post them compared to which stories Meadow posts... she's much better at it generally. XD
Yes, Grids/Buffy gets a little out of control in that episode... Though she can be pretty bad in latter seasons and we'll see how Grids handles some of that.
I'm so glad you like Tugger. XD I enjoy him a lot in Buffy verse for a couple reasons, but it's astonishing how much having Tugger and Misto as childhood friends balances them both out, compared to other verses.
