Alright, well, I figured that this fanworks section was lacking so... We won't repost any of it here I don't think, but your admins, meaning Meadowlark and I have been writing various fics, and if they're going to be posted on the internet, shall be found here, at Magical_Notes on Livejournal. Actually, we're trying to use LJ as a sort of companion area, but fics are going up on ff.net, HERE.Several fics are finished, including a rewrite of the Star Wars prequel and a medieval Ireland fic, and Tumble and Tugger doing Beauty and the Beast.

I just started to read your Cats/Beauty and the Beast crossover. It promises to be down right interesting. Although, I do have to ask, why did Tugger get cursed (besides the fact that he's apparently in the role of the Beast if I'm reading this right)? Will he at least explain to Tumble since we don't have Cogsworth narrating?
((Am loving the title of the fic as well - from my favorite song in the production))

Thank you for the review! He will explain the curse to Tumble in a later chapter, yes.
((One of my favorite songs as well. I have fond memories of the entire production (it's where i can trace my love of theatre to) and my brother played that song over and over again when we got the music for it for the piano.))

Yes! I was hoping to hear that. And hopefully, Tugger will clarify that sticky issue of the whole timeline mess that was created during that "Be Our Guest" number (Lumiere states that "ten years we've been rusting, needing so much more the dusting, needing exercise, a chance to use our skills.." which given that in the prologue it states that the curse operates until the prince's twenty-first year, and since we've hit the magic number, given the fact that the rose is starting to lose its petals, ten from twenty one makes the prince eleven when the curse was cast. That is, if I'm doing my math correctly)
And I am giggling since the Tugger doesn't seem change all that much (after all, Tugger *is* the Beast ::chuckles:: For those that don't follow, Tugger is played by Terrence Mann, who later played the Beast)

Ah, thank you! ((You know, we do allow for anon. reviews on ff.net as well... some authors don't but it's enabled on our settings XD))
Yes, we will deal with the curse later on as the story gets along. Thanks so much for reading it.

As soon as I saw the pair of you wrote it, I knew I had to read it. The two of you put out quality Cats fiction :D

oooh, new fiction ::grins:: (Okay, I'll confess to reading just one, maybe two chapters of the Cats/Buffy verse so I probably should read that first but the title alone for the second volume/season drew me in) -Misto is too damn cute in "What's My Road to Innocence?" And I like the subtle Misto/Cori pairing that's going on -I'm already worried for Demeter because of which character in the Buffy'verse she is and I know how well that ended -Yay for Tugger for calling Grids out on her attitude (I kept hoping someone would given how she acted during that entire chapter) -I'm liking Mac/Angel (although, I'm a bit worried about how the Angel -> Angelus thing is going to happen for Mac. And I'd be terribly amused if Growltiger was Spike. Since Spike did have a thing for Buffy in the later seasons) Okay, full blown squee that there's a new chapter for "Why Do Fools Fall In Love?" -Ok, have I said Misto is cute yet? Oh, in the other review. Right then, well, he's still cute. -Love how supporting Griddlebone is towards Misto after he reveals the whole kiss bit towards her. -Oh, and can we hope something evil happens to Bustopher? (I keep wanting to kick him) Especially before he finds out that Misto doesn't like girls (Oh, I can see how well that would play out) Oh, and a new chapter for "What Your Sacrifice Was For" - squee. -I'm feeling terribly sorry for Victoria since it's been well established that Plato is an utter arse (Hopefully, another tom will rescue her from that hell. Although, at this point, I wouldn't mind seeing her being rescued by Mac. Now that would be an interesting pairing.) -Feeling sorry for Jerrie and Teazer since they're so worried about how this job is going to go down (Somecat should remind them that it's not good to borrow trouble) ((and it most certainly does not help at all to keep waiting to hear Jerrie sing "In the Summertime". For those wondering, there's a band actually named Mungo Jerry, who took their name from Munjojerrie. How weird the world works. Oh, and for those curious about the song: www.youtube.com/watch?v=wvUQcnfwUUM - Oh, and look at the horrid '70s fashion)) -I do notice that there's one sentence left hanging - "He's honest, despite what that conversation implied," Mistoffelees answered. "He never seems to He never seems to what?

Wow, thank you for the reviews!
1) Misto is rather adorable, and I love him in the role of Willow (though he's taken to babbling more in our other fics due to it). And oh Cori and Misto...We try not to ship them, really we do. I fact this is the story that proved to us that there are healthier pairings out there for Misto, but he's like a limpet. Cori's still dealing with the "Oh God he's a /student/" part of this subtle pairing. Demeter, well, she is in that role.... Mac vs. Macavity (Angel vs. Angelus) is something we're eventually getting to, it's just taking time in our queue. And Spike's already cast, though it won't be Growltiger and much of the later arcs are getting revised.
2) Misto really is adorable. And Grids did rather surprise me by how much she didn't seem to react to the fact that Misto kissed his employer back. As to what happens to Jones...I don't think we've determined that. We call it our "Fluffverse" to ourselves so it likely won't be anything on part with a couple of our other stories.
3) Oh, Victoria...she really does need some sort of lovable rogue rather than, well, Plato. I'm not certain "Arse" begins to cover it when it comes to him, but it certainly comes close. Jerrie and Teazer do rather borrow trouble, but at least it's legitimate possible trouble that they can plan for. And we shall see if we can find the rest of that sentence, thank you for pointing it out!

Well, I make it a point to check out FF.net's Cats section to see if any of the fics I've been following update (I know I'm waiting patiently for another chapter of Conjuring Pain by Ailendolin. Quaxo's precious in it and Tugger/Munkus are adorable brothers.)
1) Oh, this is so not going to end well for Demeter (but what an emotional punch that would be if it happens). As for the student/teacher thing, it's okay, if done well (fictionally), as for real life, that's another kettle of fish (I believe that one teacher waited 'til the girl was out of high school before he did anything - he was a teacher at the high school I went to, granted, the girl in question was in my mother's year but still it's a bit, "uh, ew?" Of course, my high school had its fair share of strangeness. I had a professor tell a student to go out and hug a tree during class. But then the teacher was a strange bird) And oooh, I'm going to eagerly await that bit - the Mac/Macavity (one of my favorite bits of the series). ::eagerly awaits::
2) I'm hoping it's something good. ((Heck, I'd love to see Misto use that copy of War and Peace on his uncle's head. I know I would (and did. Well, not with War and Peace, but with "The Black Pearl". I can't remember if it was because the guy had fallen asleep and I was "helping him to wake up" or because of his attitude towards one of the characters - probably a combo of the two.))
3) I was trying to be nice to Plato (even if he doesn't truly deserve it, and even if it is hard to be nice to him) and didn't want to use anything stronger, less impressionable minds get unduly influenced. And understandable, given their (Jerrie, Teazer) history in this universe. And welcome :) ((I think the only reason I could possibly see Victoria and Macavity working as a couple stems from the Star Wars trilogy)

Yeah, I went on a bit of an "I'm updating everything, damn it!" binge yesterday... XD
Well, the first season is finished so you could just breeze through it when you have the time... XD Misto pretty much, as usual, falls good and early for Cori and by the second season things start to get more awkward. Very quickly. XD Yeah, Tugger is very inclined to call people out in this verse, including Grids and at one point he yells at Cori... He's very protective of Misto in this verse and vice versa which was sorta interesting to see develop though it makes sense for the characters. And yeah... Deme... Yes, the reason he's always "Mac" so far in the story is to keep the name divide seen in Angel/Angelus and Mac/Macavity. So... that plot is going to be quite interesting.
So glad you find Misto cute. XD Sometimes I worry, cos I find him freaking adorable so it's reassuring to find others feeling the same. I think this is the one verse at the moment we /don't/ have something horrible planned for Bustopher... yet. It could come up. Pretty much every other verse with him in it has some horrible fate though.
Yes, Vic needs a lovable rouge. Actually, the first 100 page draft of Victorian Verse ((Which will never see the light of day)) is what inspired the Mac/Vic pairing that we then used in Star Verse. I can never seem to write Plato as anything than an unmitigated /bastard/ I really can't. Especially where Vic and Misto are concerned. Don't worry too much about Jerrie and Teazer, they figure stuff out. XD

Then I shiver with complete and utter anticipation for future chapters of Buffy'verse (or should it be Gruffy'verse?)
Well, maybe HUAC could find some charge against Bustopher? Heaven knows he would deserve it.
Well, it doesn't help that Plato and Mac are typically played by the same person in production. So, there's an excuse for his utter bastardness. Not a good one, mind you, but an excuse.

I tend to call it Slayer Verse most days. XD Or Buffy verse. When we first started writing I kept writing "Buffy" rather than "Grids" down. XD
He would deserve it. I just can't think of what since he's such the blue blood of society... Hmmm....
Yeah, it's not even that, I don't think, since I tend to have such a, well, crazy but decent on the inside Mac muse. I think I just get "creepy rapist" vibes off Plato and that entire scene with Victoria that I will never understand does. not. help.

Oh, good, someone besides me who really felt all uncomfortable with the mating dance. It's moments like that make me ship Victoria/Misto so quickly. Hell, I'd go with any decent male but Plato for Victoria. ((And it doesn't help that there are fics out there that tell how Plato becomes/became Macavity. Most of them dark)) And there are days I go "wut" to fandom for some of the ideas they come up with (like the fics that have Victoria as Griddlebone's daughter/niece and Growltiger's still alive and "wut", just "wut")
Well, some times the charges were false (the '50s answer to the 1690s witch trials) so if anyone had a grudge, well...

The mating down is just creepy, okay? >.> I mean, it, I have nothing. The camera angles they use in the film also make it more so. When I saw it on stage I remember it still being a little... odd but it didn't feel nearly as drawn out or creepy. I also think in the film just the way the actor stands and his expressions make me distrust him all but instantly. Sorry guy.
This is true, but most of my research concerning that is about the film industry and stuff like that, so since Jones isn't anywhere near that I'm less sure what to do with him.

Oh, totally agreed on Plato ((and I don't plan on him ever really appearing in my fics, except for maybe a name drop or two))
I can see what I could turn up doing some research - heaven knows I'm usually reading half a dozen different things at once
