"Fairly quiet too," Taradan confirmed, "if anythin's goin' t'kick off it tends t'happen end of the night, that's when all the creeps crawl outta' the woodwork." he took the cloth off of his forehead, checking to see if he was still bleeding. There was less than before, but still a little, so he pressed the wad back again.

Jack nodded. "At least they wait till late in the evenin'. It'd be a shame if they ruined the entire evenin'." He looked at the stage, and nodded to himself with satisfaction. It was tidy and ready for the next day.

Taradan checked his eyebrow again. Satisfied it had stopped bleeding this time, he went around the bar and binned the cloth. "You headin' back t'Ma's?"
