The black tom followed him, tail swishing. He was still looser than he usually was, but the idea of letting Jerrie know, and physically see that he was living with Coricopat made his shoulders tense slightly. Whatever was between them still felt too fragile.

Jerrie nodded, getting in and closing his door. "Yeah, done work out there once or twice." He started the truck and pulled away, heading toward Fourth.
