Mistoffelees paused, the door half open. "Either? They should all be at work still, and it might help the packing go faster if you came..."

Cori nodded, shutting off the car and getting out, considering the house in front of him. "Who did you say you were renting from, again?"

"The Howes," he replied, fishing his key out. "The new cooks at the hotel? Apparently Oxford Howe always gets a house that's too big," he continued, unlocking the door. "Doesn't seem that large to me..."

Cori nodded slightly, trying to recall them. "Ah, yes, the two with the niece. Better too much room than not enough I suppose."

"Yeah," he replied. "But still, at least the extra room they still seem to fill." He frowned to himself slightly, remembering too much the empty rooms of the manor. Twitching his shoulders to snap out of it, he turned and headed up the stairs.

Cori et his grey gaze sweep over the furnishings of the house. It was homey. Spacious, and yet at the same time decidedly a home. He brushed the thoughts away and followed Mistoffelees up the stairs.

Misto swallowed, and opened the door to his room, glancing around and unsure the state Maggie had left it in. He figured it hadn't been bad since she just grabbed him a few things but still, he reserved the right to be concerned. But nothing seemed too out of place, and he glanced around, picking out things he thought he would need for that night at least if not a bit longer...

Coricopat paused at the door, uncertain about entering the other's room. He finally made up his mind and stepped inside, glancing around. His gaze lit on the intricate carving that rested on the dresser, very little else was set out. His brow rose at that.

Setting about gathering his meager possessions, he glanced back at Coricopat once. It actually wasn't that much, since he never really seemed to unpack anyway. He caught the raised brow and glanced over at the carving, smiling faintly at it. "Jerrie gave that to me," he said, wanting to say anything, as he folded a few shirts and put them away.

Coricopat nodded slightly, speaking almost grudgingly. "It's quite good."

Misto's grin faltered slightly but he nodded. "Yeah, he is amazing with wood." He smiled faintly at the carving, picking it up carefully, considering which shirt to pack it in.

Cor looked around the room again. "Not a bad place all told."

"I like it," Misto responded quietly, packing away a couple other things. "They're great cats as well if a bit... much sometimes." He smiled fondly though, thinking about the trio. "They're very loud, but very welcoming. It's different really."

Coricopat suppressed a grimace at that. Loud being a nice change was a foreign concept. "Well, that's good to hear." Okay, and now he was sounding stilted.

Misto glanced back at him, paused, and hefted up the bag. "I should leave a note..." he said, taking a step back to the door.
