Misto accepted the deck with a grin, fingering through it before shuffling it quickly. "And for that, sincerely, thank you," he said, looking back up at the other. "I honestly can't wait to get out of the hospital at this point just to have things to do again."

Misto shifted again. "The doctor seemed to imply another few days. Which I can barely imagine. I'd--" he was about to say "I'd rather get a cane and attempt to limp around" and realized how much he did not want to say that, not to the mottled tom. "I'd like to leave as soon as I'm able."

Nodding, Misto shuffled through the deck again. Of course, thoughts of leaving made him think about the offer to return to the house. God, he couldn't believe he'd turned that down. "How was work today?" he asked softly, looking the other over.

Misto swallowed again, giving the deck another shuffle. That still only left maybe four hours for sleep most nights. "Ah," he managed. Of course, it wasn't like he was getting much sleep at nights either currently.
