Misto paused for a moment, biting back any comments he could make about the other taking care of themselves. "You should have gone home to sleep then," he said softly. "I would have been fine you need to take care of yourself too..." Alright, so much for that.

Misto shook his head slightly, still leaning against him, looking at him with a mix of annoyance and something that looked a lot like fondness. "You're still healing too," he said softly. "And I might never have known you were here..."

Misto nodded slightly, though he didn't want to give up the chance to stop touching the other. It was doing wonders to reassure him, and he wasn't entirely sure why.

Cori guided him back to the bed and sat down on the edge of it, loosening his grip on the black cat's paw. "Do you think you can sleep?"

"I don't know," Misto said softly. "It wouldn't be so bad but I have nothing to do and finished the last book earlier today. Otherwise I'd just stay up reading but..." he sighed softly, regretting again Coricopat withdrawing at all. But he kept the paw in his, even though it was a much looser grip.
