Jerrie entered the police station, just as uncomfortable as he had been the last time he was in here. He remembered where the Commissioner's office was and after letting the cat at the front desk know, made his way to the office, knocking on the door. He wasn't ticked, but he was a bit irritated about how he'd found out about the policecat and his sister.

Sonya blinked up at the sound of the knock, taking another quick swallow of coffe to fortify himself against whoever was standing out there. "Come on in," he called out.

The torbie tom hesitated before opening the door and stepping inside, closing it behind him. "Afternoon, sir."

Sonya blinked, and blinked again. Alright, he probably needed more coffee for this. "Good afternoon," he murmured. "Nice to see you again. Can I help you?" He had a pretty good idea what the other was there for, but figured he would make sure before he said anything stupid.

"Well, my sister pretty well announced to me that you were takin' 'er to th' cinema. I wanted to confirm that." Jer replied.

Sonya blinked at him and sighed softly. "Yes, I had asked her to go. I said I would like to ask your permission for it and she insisted that she talk to you first."

Jerrie considered him for a moment before nodding. "Alright then. Would have been nice to hear from you first is all. Especially considering what you told me last time we talked."

Sighing again, Sonya nodded. "I... would have liked to have been able to talk to you first about it as well, but she was very insistent upon the idea once I asked her. I, I wanted to do this properly and since she has no father, I wished to ask your permission." He paused, and swallowed. "In which case, may I please have your permission to take your sister to the cinema?"

Jerrie hesitated, but nodded slightly. "Yeah, you have my permission and she has my blessing. I don't want to see her hurt though so try to be careful with her emotions, hm?"

Sonya blinked and smiled faintly. "I will certainly try my hardest to avoid that."

Jerrie offered him a bit of a smile in reply. "Good. Any idea when y'two'll be going?"

He gave the torbie a faint smile in return. "I am not sure yet. Schedule permitting I had been hoping later in this week but..." But considering his work, things even half a day in advance could be iffy.

Jer nodded. "Alright, fair enough. Have a good time, whenever you do manage to go."
