Tantomile tucked the mirror away again, "Much the same as usual, I've got my work for the state and my clients to take up my time." she shifted a little in her seat, crossing one leg over the other, "And how is it treating you?"

"Quite well, nothing out of the ordinary at the moment, and quite comfortable with my work right now."

Tantomile nodded, "That all sounds rather pleasant. I have to admit, it's good to speak with someone as comfortable with things as you appear to be once in a while." she might've been referring to her clients, but actually it was Macavity and her brother that had sprung to mind.

He arched an eyebrow at that. "Good to hear. What have you been up to, besides work, lately?"

She arched an eyebrow at that, "Besides work, and the everyday? I confess that doesn't leave me with a lot of time. I've been reading a particularly interesting book recently, a theory I studied in college, but the first time I've gotten hold of a copy of the source material." she fell silent, shaking her head at herself, "Listen to me, if I were one of my clients I'd be reccomending I find myself a new hobby."

He laughed quietly. "A hobby might do you some good, you never know."

"Oh goodness only knows. Even reading aside from theories?"

Tantomile laughed, "I do that at least, it's simply that this text was a christmas present."

He chuckled. "Well, that's good to hear. What do you like to read?"

"It's been a while." she admitted, "I don't get the time I used to. I don't recall what I read last, but I presume it can't have been very noteable in that case.

"Sometimes the un-notable ones are the better ones. They don't require as much time spent or devotion to them."

"That's not quite what I meant, but never mind."

Charles looked at her for a long moment. "No, please, do explain, I...presumed too much."

"Well I simply meant that, publically noteable or not, if I can't recall it, I doubt it was a read that had much of an impact on me. Perhaps even go so far as to say I may as well have not read it. A book can be as publically noticeable as you like, but if it doesn't speak to the individual reader, well then, there's no accounting for taste, but it's got to speak to me to be to mine." Tantomile explained.
