She shook her head, unable to surpress a shudder, "I don't think that's gonna be a problem Jer, not f'a long time." even before the conversation with Jerrie, the idea of running into Martin again made her skin crawl.

After a long moment she nodded, "Okay." she was silent for a while, before making an attempt to lighten the atmosphere, "This mean you're gonna start lettin' me work lates?"

She took a step back, biting her lip. "I'll try." she would have to accept that it was too much to ask of him for his forgiveness all at once. She supposed it was her own fault and she probably deserved her own hurt too.

Teazer shook her head, though she leaned slightly into her brother's touch, ressured by it. "You always looked out f'me Jer. I shouldn't abuse that, y'do it for the right reasons. Even if I had asked an' you did stop me, well, it woulda' bin' all the better. Look what mess I managed t'get myself inta'."

She blinked a little at that, somewhat genuinely surprised Jerrie was offering her an alternative, despite all he'd said. "I... Thanks Jer. But I think I'll stay home for a while."

He nodded a bit. "A'right." He hadn't been entirely without his reasons for suggesting the Chrysalis--it was one he he went to occasionally, and he knew that most of the staff watched out for the female patrons.

Teazer nodded, hoping it was alright to leave the discussion there. It hadn't blown up into a huge argument and for that she was grateful, but Jerrie's hurt at the fact she'd been lying to him was still bothering her somewhat, he seemed alright now, but she wasn't sure. She supposed there was nothing more she could do in this moment though, it would take time to show him he could trust her again.
"I guess I should be startin' on dinner."
