Teazer nodded, though she could hardly judge, she'd never been to an event of that kind. But then she hadn't ever wanted to either.

Sonya nodded again, shifted, finished the rest of his coffee and rose. "I should be going then," he said, hoping it did not come off quite as abrupt as he felt it did.
"So soon?" Martin asked, crossing his paws under his chin and leaning his elbow against the top of the table.

He nodded, though he was rather inclined to not show up at the Cafe for a couple days at least. He just... "Sure," he replied, voice not nearly as firm as usual.

Teazer gave Sonya a worried glance, feeling sure he had taken all of this the wrong way. "I, well... Goodbye then."

He murmured another set of goodbyes and turned on his heel, leaving quickly.

Martin watched him go, turning his gaze back to Teazer about the time their food arrived.

"Nothin'." despite it all, her tone was resoloute. He wouldn't be getting any more out of her on the matter.
