Coricopat focused his gaze on the bandages the other was wrapping around his paw rather than have to deal with how close the younger cat was.

Misto worked on the other paw, unwrapped it, examining it, and applying the new bandages. "I'm glad everything is healing so well," he said, finally looking up and realizing they were pretty close. He blinked, and reminded himself to breath. He pulled back slightly, and reluctantly let the other's paw go.

Misto's grin widened. "Alright, I'll go make whatever I want then," he said, leaving the room to get started on that.

Cori chuckled at that, but there was little to no humor in it. He wasn't sure how thrilled he was with this whole set up. It was about time for him to be heading back to work, frankly.

Several minutes later, Misto returned with the food and more water. "I should start going if I'm going to get to work on time... are you sure you're going to be alright?"
