Cori looked at him for a long moment, thinking of a couple things but recoiling from them rapidly. "No, I'm fine."

Misto considered him and nodded. "Alright, I guess." He tilted his head, trying to think.

Misto shook his head. "Nothing. I guess I'll go figure out something to do. Just let me know if anything comes up? If not, I'll change your bandages again before I head out."

Misto nodded, retreating to eat his own breakfast before cleaning the kitchen--again, and picking up the Hawthorne book again.

Cori finished his meal, setting the plate aside and picking up one of the Hardy books that the younger cat had brought the day before.

A while later Misto let his head flop back against the back of the chair and he sighed, having finished the book and figuring he should deal with the bandages now. But, between his own fear and Coricopat's distaste, he wasn't much looking forward to it. With another sigh, he rose, putting the book back on the shelf and going back to the bedroom. "Hey," he said softly.
