One of Mac's ears flickered back and he almost growled. That son of a bitch. "Did he now?" he said, keeping his tone mostly level, finally finding the money, pulling out several bills.

"Really now?" Mac asked, voice a little tight. That utter bastard, he thought, fiddling with the money in his paws before handing two twenties over to Munkustrap. He was going to have to talk more to Coricopat about getting information on the bastard. He should have several leads by now and damnit they should be working.

Mac ground his teeth for a moment and pulled out a ten. "Well, I don't even have any fives, so you'll have ta 'et a bit more either way," he said, lying about the bills he had.
