Mistoffelees tugged his black tie down a little, and sighed. That one damn cat had been back again, the one who refused to let things go and kept playing game after game with grim determination. Misto was starting to wonder if he could kick the cat out after a certain amount of time.

Corciopat entered the cardroom, looking around. It was relatively empty which was good for what he needed. He still couldn’t understand why he was doing this... He walked past Mistoffelees' table, setting the long narrow box he carried down on the table as he continued over to speak with Jacobsen.

Misto blinked and shook his head. Seeing Coricopat in the room was one thing, having him walk by without saying anything was another, and strangest of all a long slender package had appeared on his table. He blinked at it a couple times, wondering if he should be worried or not. He poked it and when nothing happened he picked it up to open it.

Cor watched the dealer from the corner of his eye as he received information regarding any cheating going on on the players' parts, how much had come in and what had been lost, as long as they were in a decent ratio to one another without risk of debts he could justify keeping the room open. It was a method of revenue that they could utilize to fund operations that were less lucrative--not to mention the information that was finally starting to trickle through.

Mistoffelees titled his head to one side as he looked at the tie nestled in its package. He glanced over at Coricopat, and back to the tie. It was a very tasteful blue, he would admit that, but it was... color. He couldn't remember the last time he'd worn color.

The lawyer finished up his conversation a few moments later and moved idly over to the table. "Color is a useful method for 'humanizing' one."

Misto blinked for a second, the tie still held awkwardly in his hand. "I..." he gave Coricopat a side long look.”I would almost say you just made a joke."

Coricopat arched an eyebrow, choosing not to respond to that directly. "It might do you some good to add just a dash of color to your wardrobe."

Misto considered. "But... it's color."

"At least it's not orange." Came the dry response.

Misto laughed. "Alright, that's true. But I would trust you to never threaten me with a color like orange. After something like that I would never recover and would go to my grave in shades of gray."

That elicited a chuckle from Coricopat. "Never fear, as long as I live I cannot see myself giving some other cat something orange. Hideous color."

Misto snorted. He glanced back down at the tie and blushed. "Uh, should I thank you?"

Coricopat shrugged in reply. "Propriety would say yes, but really it's unnecessary. After all, I did foist color on you." A wry smile graced his features.

Misto smiled at him. "Thank you. Does this mean I have to wear it?"
