Jerrie's lip curled. "Half hope we do. Anyhow, I'll take th' piping up another level, you'll be working from her apartment and I'll be up above."

"Ain't the one above locked?" Tugger's tone held some amusement, doubting Jerrie would be too worried about that.

Jer laughed at that, handing Tugger one of the wrenches as he took the pipes. "Well, let's get headed back up."

Bombalurina noted Tugger's enterance, passing him a light smile over her shoulder as she folded some of the meat onto the bread. "I'm making sandwiches, if any of you boys are interested?" Bombalurina noted, glancing back at the spread before her as she pocketed each topping to the half-made lunch. "How's it going?"

"Hold on one moment," Tugger told the scarlet queen. He went back into the main room and climbed the ladder, ears flicking for pawsteps on the now exposed floorboards above him.

Jerrie made his careful way across the floor, kneeling when he reached the rotten section, his paw coming to the hole he'd started the day before and carefully pulling up a couple of the boards.

The first thing Jerrie would see past the pipes was Tugger grinning up at him, "Our esteemed lady want's t'know if we want lunch."
