She rested a paw lightly on his chest next to her head, nodding very slightly a purr starting to rise in her throat. "Perfect."

Macavity nuzzled against her shoulder, a deep purr in his chest. "Good."

Her purr turned a bit drowsy as she traced a couple of the tabby stripes on his chest, her eyelids drooping.

He watched her, his own purr continuing. He wondered what exactly he was going to do for the next several hours, but not willing to try moving again. It was... surprisingly nice to actually lay there like that, though his mind spent most of the remaining night racing through different thoughts, dozing every once and a while.

Griddlebone woke again as the sun was coming in through the window, she blinked, processing where she was, before glancing up at Mac. "Morning."

"Mornin'," Mac said, glancing down at her. "Sleep well then?" he asked, not actually annoyed that she had kept him in bed all night, though he was starting to feel rather jittery.

She nodded a bit, drawing back to stretch, giving him the ability to move if he so chose. "Yes, thank you. You?"

Mac shrugged, not quite moving yet. "Well enough, I 'uess." He paused another moment before rolling from the bed and standing up.

Grids watched him for a moment before sitting up, considering. She really just had the formal dress she'd been wearing the night before and frankly she'd rather not have to head back dockside in that. Ah well.

Mac raised a brow at her, turning from finishing buttoning up a new shirt. "I'd love ta be able ta lend you somethin', but I think wearin' my clothes would be just as bad and I hardly have any queen's clothes sittin' around." He paused. "I can drive you home if you need though," he added, one ear flickering. He had no idea how exactly she was expecting him to react, and rusty enough to have no idea how he was supposed to.

She nodded a bit, reaching for her slip and pulling it on as she got up. "I certainly wouldn't mind a ride, I'd rather not deal with the docks in that dress again."

Mac smirked slightly, watching her dress as he tied his tie. "Certainly." He paused for a moment. "You want breakfast first?"

She glanced at him over her shoulder as she pulled her dress up over her shoulders, brushing her hair off to oneside as she tried to get her fingers to work on the fasteners of the dress. "That sounds delightful."

He nodded. "And, well, it will 'ive me a chance ta show you some more of the hotel," he said, more joking at that point than being serious. He paused for a moment before moving over, and doing up the fasteners for her.

She offered him a smile, picking up the necklace he'd given her and looping it around her neck, offering the two ends to him to fasten. "Thank you."
