She took another sip of her drink, rather wishing she found Martin a little more agreeable, since in other ways, he was the perfect gentleman. But there was something about him that made her uneasy. |

Martin turned his attention to the show as well, remaining mostly silent during it, trying to gather his thoughts back.

Teazer felt herself relax a little as she watched what was happening on the small stage, the alcohol was helping as well, her glass empty by the time the act finished.

Martin had long since finished his drink, and was considering another but discarded the idea. "Well then," he said finally when it didn't look like Teazer was about to say anything.

Martin glanced at the stage again as the show ended. "Are you intending to stay much longer? Can I get you another drink?"

"What time is it?" she asked, mentally calculating how long it would take her to get home, depending if the busses were still running, one of these days she was going to have to get herself a watch.

Martin nodded again, leaving and returning moments later with two drinks, though he had very little intention to actually drink his. He handed the other over to her, settling back down. "Did you enjoy the show then?"
