He spread a paw out before them. "Well, if we're goin' ta take a grand tour, should probably take the stairs. After you," he said, his arm pointing toward the side hallway that went to his office, beyond which was the staircase. Taking the lift would be far too obvious.

She smiled a bit, preceding him into the hall, glancing at her host as she entered the staircase.

Mac swallowed as he followed her. "Any requests of what ta see first?" he asked, keeping his voice light.

She looped her arm through his, glancing up at him again. "Well, I really know nothing in the hotel, so where we start should be up to my guide.."

He swallowed again, but nodded. "Well, the restaurant on the third floor's better when it's open--" he wouldn't mind taking her to breakfast there--"and you've seen the fancier bits otherwise, the entrance and the ballroom, but up top we have some other floors... between here and there though are quite some stairs, unless you want ta take a look at some of the rooms..."

"Depends on if you have guests staying there, or if they're offices...perhaps it would be simpler to just go up the stairs?" She arched an eyebrow at him, considering that she would probably have to pull her shoes off before they reached the top floor.

"Well, if you wanted ta take a look at some of the 'uest suites, only some of them are full," he replied, having started up the steps. "Some offices on the higher floors ta. Not sure how interested you would be in those." Everlasting cat, was he feeling nervous or more confident than usual? It was a little hard to tell with her leaning against him.

"You know," Mac rumbled after he pulled away a bit later. "Can just take the stairs up another floor and catch the lift from there. Just didn't want the eyes of the entire city on us down there, but no cat's goin' ta be around the third floor..."
