Tugger glanced about, briefly, looking for Macavity again but eventually turning back to Munkustrap when the search proved fruitless, "I take it you're leavin' now?"

Munkus shrugged. "We were planning to, but if you would like to tick around we can probably find something to do for a bit longer."

Tugger shook his head, "I think I've probably stayed long enough." He shot Misto a sideways glance though, wondering if his friend would mind being left alone.

Tugger nodded, giving Misto a grateful look. "Sure, not like I don't know where t'find you now." he turned back to Munkustrap and Electra, "Y'seen Mac?"

"If you're looking for your brother he left some twenty minutes ago." A smooth voice came from behind Munkustrap.
Munkus turned to frown at the other lawyer. "Coricopat, Happy New Year. Thank you for letting us know."
The mottled tom returned the smile thinly. "Happy New Year to you as well, Mr. Hollister."

Misto blinked at Coricopat's sudden appearance, leaning back against the counter further.

An injured expression flickered on Tugger's face at the return of the mottled tom and his words, not to mention the indifference of the delivery. Though he was more hurt Macavity had left without saying goodbye, after the fuss he'd made about them coming. "I guess we should just push off then." he muttered, not quite daring to say it louder when Coricopat was still in earshot.

Misto murmured a good night to Tugger before turning blinking to Coricopat. "I... what? Actually, I was just thinking about going home."
