"I've bin' worse," Tugger admitted, "though this thing ain't exactly my cup of tea. What about yourself? I figure this job must be workin' out pretty well f'you?"

"Yeah, for the most part," Misto said, shrugging. "Until I pretty much was informed my attendance here was going to be mandatory, though I guess even this hasn't been so bad so far... though, by the way, if my uncle happens to show up and I end up hiding behind that large vase over there, just ignore that, would you?"

Tugger arched an eyebrow at that, "Does he know you're workin' here?"

"My uncle?" Misto asked and then nodded. "Yeah, if that's who you're talking about, yes, he does." He winced at the memory.

Tugger nodded "I was." he caught his friend's expression, "I won't ask how it went."

Misto smiled faintly. "It's hardly your fault he actually saw me in the hotel and loudly declaimed how worthless I was in front of my employers."

Tugger pulled a face, "Jeez, I don't envy you." a pause, "What's the deal with your friend?" he asked, referring to Coricopat.

Mistoffelees blinked at him, and blinked again. "Um, who? You..." he paused one ear flickering. "Mean Coricopat?"

Tugger nodded, "Yeah, him."

For a long moment Misto didn't answer, trying to sort it out in his own head. "Well," he tried. "He, I don't know, actually. He's actually the one lending me the house."

Tugger's brows shot higher at that, "Y'sure about that? He don't look the type t'lend anyone anythin'." he frowned for a second, "An' he works f'Mac too?"

"I'm fairly sure he was the one to hand me the key, yes," Misto replied. "And, I guess he does, though I'm not really sure how or what he does..."
((Willful ignorance Misto, willful ignorance. It won't last much longer))

Tugger shook his head. "Guess there ain't much to say t'that then."
((Hrm we need to have a conversation about if Tug and Cori would have ever met at all/enough for Tug to remember him/form an opinion... That's why I'm keeping it vague atm.))

Misto shrugged a little, actually rather uncomfortable with the idea of actually talking about Coricopat to other people. He barely understood the other cat at all, how was he supposed to explain anything about him to others? "Well, other than being forced to attend a ball, how have you been of late?"

Tugger shrugged, "Much the same as usual I guess."
