Mac's paw went for another cigarette at the question, movements just a little jerky. "Maybe," he muttered, lightening it. One way or another, he would hopefully find out in a matter of days.

Mac narrowed his eyes slightly at him. "Generally speakin', yes, it would be. This case? It's a maybe. I'm still waitin' on a reply."

The other eyebrow rose to join the first. "Patience has never been one of your virtues. Who is the lady, may I ask?" His mind flickered momentarily to the mention Tugger had made about his boss.

Mac was about to open his mouth to tell Munkustrap he wouldn't know her, when he remembered that it was Tugger's boss, and the two younger brothers did live together after all. "She..." it was still so awkward however. "Griddlebone, down from the dock area," he muttered finally.
