Misto nodded, wishing he could do something, anything to help, but he had a curfew as well. "When does he usually go out again then?"

Tugger thought for a moment, "Depends, couple of hours at least, I wouldn't risk goin' back for a while anyway. If I run into him and I'm late, an' he's still angry about last night..."

Misto glanced at the clock, calculating. "I don't have to be back to St. James' street for another couple hours..." he said finally.

Tugger gave a low whistle, "You live up St James'..? Jeez. I guessed y'came from a bit of money, but those houses are bleedin' mansions."

Misto shrugged. "Yes, huge, empty, echoing mansions." Not particularly the funnest place to grow up. "With armies of servants even to give you dirty looks for sullying the place with your presence." Alright, so he was maybe a little bitter.

Tugger ran a paw through his headfur, "I guess I can see why they might look down on you, y'might be a rich kid, but you ain't stuck up." from Tugger at least, that was a high compliment indeed.

Misto smiled faintly, but sincerely. "Thanks," he said, shouldering his bag. It was probably a lot more to do with how Jones treated him, and his father than anything. "Anyway, if you want company for the next couple hours, I'm free."

"Beats hangin' around on my own," Tugger admitted quite readily, making for the classroom door at long last, "besides, there's worse company than you." he added, though returning Mistoffelees' small smile with a grin of his own, as he spoke.

Misto snorted, his smile becoming a little bigger at that. "I am just heart warmed by that," he drawled, going for the door as well.

Tugger chuckled a bit, "I must be doin' somethin' wrong then." he joked, "Where are we headed anyhow?"

"Not entirely sure. I have no massive plans, though there certainly are enough places around. You have any ideas?"

Tugger shrugged "Not really, though the sun's out an' it ain't too cold yet."

Chuckling, Misto nodded. "Fair enough." He made his way out of the school, glancing around. Most of the students had filtered away by that time, though clumps remained around the front lawn.

Tugger followed the other cat, somewhat currently preoccupied with his own thoughts, everything felt like it had gone wrong in the last 24 hours, starting with his run-in with Deuteronomy last night, but now, the sun warming his fur through his shirt and what seemed, despite their initial hostilities, like an ally in Mistoffelees. maybe even a friend, he felt his spirits lifting somewhat, starting even to worry less about what might happen if he timed it wrong coming home.

Misto turned slightly to better keep the other in sight. "So then, how about Central Park? It's still warm out and it's a nice place."
