Griddlebone made her way along the sidewalk, her long coat drawn close around her to cut the wind. She hadn't been able to find much for the Police Commissioner, but she figured she'd best give him what she had.

Sonya walked down the sidewalk, pulling his own coat closer against the wind. It was far past lunch time, and far past the normal time he was supposed to be in his office, but damn them all, he had spent the morning sleeping. He had not gotten home until the hours of the morning before, he if he had drunk one more cup of coffee at that point, he figured he would have flown apart.
Glancing up he paused when he noticed the white queen walking toward the station. "Ah," he said and paused, not sure how to address her. "Miss Griddlebone."

Milady looked up. "Oh, Commissioner Vlask. Just the cat I was coming to see."

Sonya nodded, and opened the door of the station, holding it open for her. "Ah, good. Would you like to come into my office then?"

She stepped inside. "Please."

Sonya closed the door behind him, and stepped forward to precede her to his office, wincing a little as he opened the door and saw the mess from yesterday remaining. Ah well, at least he had cleared the chair off. He motioned toward it. "You may sit if you like," he said, going around his desk to sit in his own chair. He motioned at an officer through the door to make coffee.

Griddlebone unbottoned her coat, taking a seat on the cleared off chair. "I haven't been able to find much, but there was some."

"Oh?" Sonya asked, leaning his elbows on the table in front of him. "What did you find out?"

"He was seen at the Red Ribbon, not surprising since he didn't really look much like a dock worker, not much else is known about him excpet he frequented the Ribbon for quite a while. No one could say for sure if he had any eneimes down at the docks, which probably means he didn't." She thought for a moment. "I think that's pretty much what I was able to find."

Sonya blinked, brain processing. "The Red Ribbon, huh?" he said finally. "Interesting." He looked up as one of his lackeys brought in the coffee. He offered a cup to Griddlebone. "I did have another question for you though. There was another murder last night, and we caught a tom running from the scene. I think it was just a stupid mistake, but I was curious if you knew anything. A... Rum Tum Tugger Hollister I think was his name? The one caught at the scene I mean."

Griddlebone looked at him in shock. "Tugger? You think he was involved in this?" She smiled in disbelief. "I highly doubt that."

"Oh, so you know him then," Sonya mumbled. "Good." He glanced down at his almost unreadable notes from the night before. "Can you tell me a little about him then?"

"He's a good worker, a friend of his got him a job down at the docks. He works at sweeping up around my place in the afternoons. Nothing illegal."

"Hm," Sonya said. "Do you know anything about his relatives?" He still felt like something was off, or that the cat knew more than he had been letting on. If he could just figure out what, since he had been so tired at the time...

"I know he has a brother." She shrugged. "Not much more than that."
