"It goes smoothly. The information part isn't quite there yet, but once the players relax just a bit more that will fall into place."

Mac nodded and then paused for a very long moment. "Now, I trust you with this, and that you would never have proposed this ta me without a whole hell of safeguards, but now that it's up and runnin' in my hotel... I'd like ta hear a little more about this room."

Cori slid the nailfile back into his pocket, lacing his fingers together as he looked at Mac, nodding very slightly. "Of course. To begin with IOUs are expressly forbidden. If a cat runs out of money he came in with he's done for the night. Secondly, they have to be able to prove that they can afford it, either they don't have a family to support or there is enough to support the family and more besides, should they lose their money. As to the technical aspect there's three blackjack tables running for approximately five hours a night. Jacobsen oversees the pit and reports directly to me."

Leaning back further, Mac didn't interupt him or react until the other tom was done talking. "You did think it out then. Good." Not that he hadn't figured Cori had, but having his faith ocassionally reassured was hardly a bad thing.

"I wouldn't have dreamed of presenting it to you if I hadn't." Came the reply, accompanied by a single arched eyebrow.

Mac grinned. "Just checkin'. It would be amiss of me not ta check on what any of my henches are doin'."

Cori looked unimpressed by that but shrugged, nodding. "Of course."

Mac's grin only widened at him. "So then, any other business?"

"There is the ball coming up. The logistics on that one are a damn nightmare, I hope you realize."Coricopat replied, shaking his head slightly.

Mac gave him a long look. "What the hell do you think I was doin' the last few days out of the public eye? Paperwork. For that. Have we figured out the decoarations yet? Smith was givin' me grief about one of the florists. And what about security? I thought I left you in charge of figurin' out that bit."

"Smith takes joy in giving cats grief about whatever he can. I'll see what can be done about finding a decorator--and perhaps a new florist. As to security, we're running a little shyer on muscle at the moment, but nothing that can't be fixed. I'm still looking over who would work best in those positions, but nonetheless. If I had a better idea of the guest list exactly I might have a better idea of who we will need on security." Cori replied.

Mac waved a paw. "I already send you a guest list," he said. "Doesn't mean I have "yeses" from any of them but you should have it."

"The yesses are what I could stand to have. Security will be handled, just would like to know what I need to have the men on alert about."

Mac shrugged. "Well, that part at least is out of my paws. But the Comissioner should be comin' one way or another, so keep an eye out for him. Jones is more iffy after I booted him out, but who knows, he's hardly one ta miss any social event. Those are my two big concerns, the rest are mostly socalietes and the type."

"I'll take that into account. I recognized most of the names on that list, but there are a couple I'm unfamiliar with..." Coricopat remarked idly.
