Electra had chattered at the other queen on the way down to the speakeasy, and was nearly bouncing on the balls of her feet by the time they arrived. It had been several weeks since she had last gone, and was even happier about having a new friend to go with her.

Bombalurina followed Electra, paw rubbing the opposite elbow nervously, tail a-flicker as she entered the foreign club for the first time. Taking in the sights and sounds, she curled her fuller tail around her leg subconciously, eyes cast downwards toward the wooden floor.

Electra stopped mid sentence about her boss and turned to the other queen, frowning slightly. "You okay, honey? I didn't say something wrong did I? Do you not like the club?"

Bombi glanced up at Electra quickly, startled by the comment and attempting a quick back track.
"Oh no, its lovely....Just...haven't been to a place like this in a while is all." Bombalurina fiddled slightly with her dress, half way between feeling out of place, the other right at home.

Electra tilted her head considering. "You sure? You look ready to run away." She played with the ends of her pearls as she glanced quickly around the speakeasy. "If you want to go someplace else, we can, or if you want to talk about it... but you don't have to of course."

Bombalurina looked hesitant, wary of revealing such intimate deal about herself.
No, kit, its fine. I just used to work in a place like this...that was years ago though." She sighed at the memory, straightening her back some.

Electra frowned a little and nodded. "Alright. Maybe you just have to ease back into it then?"

The scarlet queen nodded, though seemed fairly hesitant.
"I promised myself I wouldn't...but I can't deny I miss it." She sighed slightly, smiling warmly at her new friend.

"Well, now that you're here, you should enjoy it," Electra said, grabbing her paw and leading her toward a table near where the band was playing.

Bombi blinked as she was dragged through the crowd by the enthusiastic Electra, though she quickly dropped her subdued facade with a laugh, relaxing some.
"This close to the band huh?"

The queen grinned the first genuine smile she had in a while.
"Where else would we be?" She took a seat joyfully, bouncing suddenly as she heard a familiar melody through the air.

Electra grinned and tilted her head at the song. "Ah, I love this song," she said, her grin getting even wider if possible.

The scarlet queen tapped her paws rhythmically on the table top, humming melodiously along with the music.
