"You go to the war or somethin'?"

"Da, I worked in the field hospitals."

Mac's eyes turned back to meet his. "Look, there has ta be somethin' I can do or get for you, just..."

[Meadowlark]

"If you feel it necessary. I just don't have anything I really need. Enough to replace the supplies I used."

[victoriousscarf]

"I feel it's necessary," Mac said. "In fact if I had the cash on me I'd repay you for four years ago ta."

[Meadowlark]

"It's not necessary, but..." He shrugged

Mac rolled one shoulder, his tail swishing before coming up to curl around his waist. He leaned his head against the back of the couch, looking around the apartment again. "So, now what?" he asked after a moment. "What you goin' ta do with me now you've treated me?"

[Meadowlark]

"Well I can hardly throw you out on the street. Is there somecat you can call?" Doc looked up from the crossword he'd picked up.

"Yeah," he said. "But how you think you're gettin' me back down the stairs?"

[Meadowlark]

He hesitated at that. "That....will be a problem."

[victoriousscarf]

Swallowing, Mac watched him. "Well if anythin' comes ta mind, do let me know because I'm drawin' a blank."

[Meadowlark]

The Russian Blue sighed, glancing at a calendar which hung on the wall. A few days and it would still be alright and keep his practices, mostly, a secret. "Until you're able to get down them you may have to stay here."

Mac took a deep breath and couldn't think of anything else. "Okay," he said quietly.

[Meadowlark]

"Do you have somecat you should call?"

[victoriousscarf]

Mac sighed and nodded. "A couple certainly wouldn't mind calls." Let Tugger know he wouldn't be home that night, probably Coricopat as well...
