"I'll try and keep that in mind too," Mac said, rolling his shoulder experimentally. "Anythin' else?"

"That should be it. I'll see to it from time to time, but do try to go carefully with it."

Macavity nodded. "Thanks then. I'll do my best to keep it from gettin' worse." The last thing he needed at this point was being unable to move around or put on a public face. Ah well, at least it wasn't fatal or even too bad, and he wouldn't obviously limp or anything.

Doc looked at him for a long moment, but nodded, readjusting his shirt sleeves and picking up his coat and hat. "Good day then."

Doc slipped out of the penthouse, intending to get a little bit of sleep before he was due to be on shift at Felidae General.
((exit Doc))
"Is there anything you need before I leave?" Cori asked, rising.

Mac considered, glancing around the room. "Grab me a book," he muttered, annoyed and hurting. "If I'm goin' be stuck on this bed for a while, I need somethin' ta do."

Mac shrugged. "Whatever's on there with a bookmark in it should do."

Oh that was helpful. Cori ran his paw along the spines, finally finding one that he could see a bookmark in and pulling it from the shelf, bringing it over.

"Thank you," Mac said, not giving it much thought. He figured he would read for a while, until his side stopped aching so much, sleep, and then try to sort out some problems. His mind was already racing ahead, mostly forgetting about the other cat in the room.

"Of course. Take care, Mac." Cori slipped from the room, seriously considering the merits of finding an assistant of some sort.

Mac made a noise acknowledging the other's departure, but not much more than that as he opened the book and settled down.
